CTET Exam 2026: Teacher Eligibility Test on February 8, know when registration will start

CTET February 2026 exam will be held on 8 February. This examination conducted by CBSE will be in two papers, Paper 1 for teachers of classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for teachers of classes 6 to 8. Know important details including when the registration process will start.

CTET Exam 2026: The date of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 has been announced by CBSE. This examination will be conducted on 8 February 2026. This time the examination will be conducted in 132 cities across the country and in 20 languages. This examination is organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This examination will be held in two papers. Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to become teachers from class 1 to class 5. Paper 2 is for those candidates who want to become teachers of class 6 to 8. Both the papers will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), i.e. each question will have four options and one correct answer has to be selected. Every correct answer will get 1 mark and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

When will CTET Information Bulletin be released?

According to the notice issued by CBSE, the detailed information bulletin will soon be uploaded on the official website ctet.nic.in. In this, information about exam syllabus, language options, eligibility criteria, fees, exam center and all important dates will be given. Candidates are advised to read the Information Bulletin carefully before applying.

  • Upload all the required documents and deposit the fees.
  • After submitting the form, download the confirmation page.
  • Keep its printout safe for future reference.
