Crypto Group Behind Bizarre Stunts Disrupting Multiple WNBA Games

The mystery behind a string of bizarre disruptions at recent WNBA games, involving sex toys being hurled onto the court, has finally been solved. A group of cryptocurrency traders has come forward claiming responsibility for the antics, admitting they orchestrated the stunts to promote their meme coin, Green Dildo Coin (DILDO). Over the past week, at least five WNBA games have been interrupted by the appearance of green adult toys, sparking outrage among players, fans, and league officials. Now, reports suggest the incidents may be linked to a group of cryptocurrency traders promoting a meme coin.

An anonymous spokesperson for the group, who goes by @Daldo_Raine on social media, told USA Today that members behind the “Green Dildo Coin” (DILDO) have been orchestrating the stunts. The group claims the goal is to market their cryptocurrency through shock value and social media buzz.
“It was more or less an opportunistic approach to what is already trending,” the spokesperson told ESPN. “Where is there already controversy, and how do we intercept some of that attention?”

Incidents Across Multiple Cities

At least five WNBA games have been affected in just over a week. On Tuesday, a sex toy was thrown during the New York Liberty game at Barclays Centre, although it didn’t reach the court.

During a game between the Los Angeles Sparks and Indiana Fever at Crypto.com Arena, Fever guard Sophie Cunningham was hit in the leg by a green toy in the second quarter. Cunningham had earlier pleaded with fans on social media to stop throwing objects. Other incidents include a sex toy landing out of bounds at Chicago’s Wintrust Arena during a Golden State Valkyries vs. Chicago Sky game.

Teen Arrested For WNBA Sex Toy Prank

An 18-year-old has been arrested for throwing a sex toy during a Phoenix Mercury WNBA game, calling it “a stupid prank” inspired by a social media trend. Police say he pulled the item from his sweater pocket and tossed it into the crowd, hitting a spectator and the person’s nine-year-old niece. He was tackled by a volunteer as he tried to leave the arena. The incident mirrors a July 29 case in Georgia, where a 23-year-old was arrested for throwing a sex toy onto the court during an Atlanta Dream game.
