Crowd gathered in Maharana Pratap Founder Week-2025 in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi released the book and visited the exhibition.

Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad Founder’s Week-2025 was grandly inaugurated in Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi and the chief guest released the books. In the procession, the youth gave a brilliant display of Indian culture, heritage, bravery and discipline.

Gorakhpur. Gorakhpur looked like ‘whole of India’ on Thursday in the Founder’s Week Celebration-2025 of Maharana Pratap Education Council. The enthusiastic youth gave the message of respect for Indian culture, discipline and heritage. The youth demonstrated discipline and coordination brilliantly on the streets of Gorakhpur. The procession displaying Indian tradition, technological development, security and ideology of great men attracted everyone’s attention.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and chief guest released the book

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and chief guest Lieutenant Yogendra Dimri (Retd.), Vice Chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, released the research magazine ‘Digvijayam’ of Digvijaynath Postgraduate College and ‘Mission Manjhariya’ report of Maharana Pratap PG College, Jangal Dhushad.

After reaching the venue of the ceremony, NCC cadets gave guard of honor to the chief guest. The chief guest also recorded his views on the booklet. The Chief Minister and the Chief Guest also visited the exhibition ‘Developed India, Developed Uttar Pradesh @2047’.

More than 9000 students were present in the function. The program started with Saraswati Vandana and Kulgeet by the students of Maharana Pratap Inter College.

Appreciation of discipline and presentation of youth

The chief guest inaugurated the procession and took the march past salute of the youth. NCC cadets of Maharana Pratap Girls Inter College were at the forefront. NCC teams and Taekwondo teams from various educational institutions joined behind them. Gyan Jyoti, Sachchidanand Band and Hans Vahini were also the attractions of the procession. Students from all the institutions of the Education Council participated in this grand procession.

Tribute to great men and legacy

The procession included pictures of Maa Saraswati, Bharat Mata, Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath, Maharana Pratap, Mahant Digvijaynath and Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj. On one hand, India’s bravery was displayed through ‘Operation Sindoor’, while on the other hand, the message of heritage and faith was given through the Ram Mandir theme.

The procession started from the college campus and returned to the venue from the Golden Jubilee Gate via Indira Bal Bihar, Post Office Tiraha, Ganesh Square, Golghar and Kachari Square. Youth in Indian attire and school uniform remained the main attraction.

  • Kabaddi Competition (Girls Junior/Senior): Maharana Pratap Girls Inter College, Civil Lines
