Husband Irfan stabbed his 27-year-old wife Taiseen to death over a dispute over loan repayment in Hubli. His wife used to ask him to repay the loan, due to which he got angry and took this step. The police have taken the accused into custody.
Dharwad/Hubli: An inhuman incident has taken place in the commercial city of Hubli, where a husband brutally killed his own wife by stabbing her with a knife due to a dispute over a loan issue. The incident took place in Ramalingeshwar Nagar of Hubli and 27-year-old Taiseen Shiggavi was murdered. Irfan and Taiseen, originally residents of Gandhiwad, Hubli, had come to live in a rented house in Ramalingeshwar Nagar only two months ago. Irfan used to do house construction work (mason work). It is said that the family had some debt, and for the last few days, minor fights were taking place between the husband and wife regarding the repayment of this debt.

To avoid trouble from lenders, wife Taiseen would repeatedly advise her husband Irfan to ‘work hard and repay the loan as soon as possible’. Angered by these words of his wife, Irfan picked up the knife kept at home and suddenly attacked his wife. Due to brutal stabbing on four-five parts of his body including the neck, Taiseen died on the spot drenched in blood.
Soon after the murder, local people informed the police. Policemen from Gokul Road Police Station immediately reached the spot and investigated. The body has been sent to KIMS Hospital for post-mortem and the process of taking the accused husband Irfan into custody is underway. Debt burden and family feud have ruined an inhabited house, creating panic among the local people. A case in this regard has been registered at Gokul Road Police Station.
