Wing Commander Namansh Syal, martyred in the Dubai Air Show Tejas crash, was cremated with military honors in his native village Patialkar (Kangra, HP), where his wife Wing Commander Afshan, family and villagers bid an emotional farewell.

Cousin Nishant cremated Namansh at his native village Patialkar in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. What happened in Dubai Airshow?

On November 21, while performing acrobatics with Tejas during a demo flight at the Dubai Air Show, suddenly the fighter jet tilted downwards and came down rapidly and crashed. During this time, pilot Wing Commander Namansh Syal did not even get a chance to eject.
