The case of water tragedy in Indore is serious. So far 14 people have died due to drinking contaminated water in Bhagirathpura area of Indore, the cleanest city of the country. The name of the 14th deceased is Arvind (43) son of Hiralal, who was a resident of Kulkarni Bhatta. According to the Health Department, 7992 houses have been surveyed so far. In this, 2456 people have been found infected or suspected. More than 200 people remain hospitalized, of whom about 40 have been discharged, and 162 are still undergoing treatment.
