Conor McGregor once again teased a WWE appearance by trolling Roman Reigns with a one-word post. Soon after trolling the Tribal Chief, McGregor broke his silence and addressed whether he would join WWE. The former UFC champion didn’t give a clear response and he wasn’t sure he would join the sports entertainment company.
“I don’t know, bro-don’t know. They’re going to platform their own combatants and, you know, put them next to these guys, put them next to our guys, let it be seen by the public, and then we’d actually have something to look forward to on our side-bouts to look forward to. But remember, these guys cash in here and there, etc., etc.-that builds the story, ” McGregor told Adam’s Apple.
McGregor has yet to make a WWE appearance despite multiple teases. Of course, he would be in an angle with Reigns if he finally make a WWE appearance.
Roman Reigns is the World Heavyweight Champion
Roman is the present World Heavyweight Champion. The OTC defeated CM Punk in the main event of Wrestlemania 42 to win this title for the first time. It was his first title match since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 40.
Reigns won the Royal Rumble 2026 to earn the right to challenge the champion of his choice. He picked Punk over Cody and faced him in a one-on-one match for the first time at Wrestlemania.
He has defended his title twice since then. Reigns defeated Jacob Fatu in the main event of Backlash 2026. He also defeated him at Clash in Italy. As a result, Fatu had to acknowledge the Tribal Chief.
As for Punk, he is on a break from WWE. He made his previous WWE appearance on Raw after Wrestlemania 42. The Best in the World superstar is expected to make his return soon and be part of a marquee match at SummerSlam.
