Commonwealth Sport 2030: A big update has come out regarding the Commonwealth Games 2030. The Commonwealth Games Executive Board has recommended the name of Ahmedabad on Wednesday. This decision will be taken after the general body meeting on 26 November. This time India had to face competition from Nigeria for hosting. Ahmedabad is all set to host the Commonwealth Games to be held in 2030. As soon as the Executive Board announced the recommendation of Ahmedabad’s name, there was an atmosphere of happiness and excitement in the Indian sports world.

This time India had to compete with Nigeria for hosting. But Commonwealth Sports has decided to support and give Nigeria the opportunity to host the Games in the future. This also includes hosting the 2034 Games. Commonwealth Sports said in a press release that the Executive Board has recommended the selection of Ahmedabad, India as the proposed host city for the 2030 Centenary Commonwealth Games. Now Ahmedabad will be presented before the entire membership of Commonwealth Sports and the final decision will be taken on 26 November. Earlier, India had hosted the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in 2010.

India will host 2030 Commonwealth Games
On this occasion, India’s Home Minister Amit Shah said that hosting the 2030 Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad is a matter of pride and happiness for India. He also congratulated the countrymen on this occasion. The Commonwealth Games started in 1930 in Hamilton, Canada. So far, Australia has hosted these games a maximum of 5 times. The 100th anniversary of the Commonwealth Games will be celebrated in the year 2030. India had shown the world that it was fully prepared for big sporting events by successfully organizing the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in 2010.
