Athletics action is also underway at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow on Monday. India have so far won four medals – one gold, two silver and one bronze (another medal is assured in boxing). India’s fastest man, Gurindervir Singh, is out of the race for a place in the men’s 100m semi-final, while long-jumpers Murali Sreeshankar and Lokesh Sathyanathan along with 110m hurdles star Tejas Shirse are in the final.
