After Loopt, Sam joined the world’s largest startup platform ‘Y Combinator’ and became its President at the age of 28. In 2015 he started OpenAI. Many big names were associated with him, including Elon Musk. ChatGPT was launched on 30 November 2022, which garnered 10 lakh users in just 5 days and today it is being used worldwide. The era of AI gained momentum from here. In November 2023, OpenAI’s board suddenly removed Sam as CEO. In 2024, Sam married his friend Oliver Mulherin. He also promised to donate a large part of his wealth.
