Cocktail 2 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 4: Shahid Kapoor is here with the second release of the year and his massive fan following can’t keep calm about it.
After grabbing eyeballs with his sizzling chemistry in O’Romeo earlier this year, Shahid is now creating waves with Cocktail 2 which has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Touted to be a romantic comedy drama, Cocktail 2 also features Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Interestingly, Cocktail 2 is said to be the spiritual sequel to the 2012 release Cocktail and both the movies have been helmed by Homi Adajania.
Interestingly, Cocktail 2 which brings Shahid together with Kriti for the second time after Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and marks his first collaboration with Rashmika. As the movie managed to create a lot of buzz with its cast, the hype around the franchise and the songs, Cocktail 2 opened to mixed reviews and got the audience brimming with an opinion. And while Cocktail 2 witnessed a good start at the Indian box office, it was seen going strong at the worldwide box office.

According to a report published in Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 saw a dip of 62.5% in the overseas market on day 4 (first Monday). The movie, which had earned Rs 4cr on day 3 (first Sunday), minted Rs 1.5cr on day 4 (first Monday) which took the overall collection to Rs 20.75cr.

On the other hand, Cocktail 2 has been struggling to touch the Rs 100cr mark and managed to earn Rs 85.31cr after 4 days of release.
Meanwhile, talking about working with Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika stated, “There’s no dull moment with him.. he would always make sure all of us are happy, smiling and taken care of. He’s just that kind of a person you know you’re going to have a good time when you go to the set with him.. it was really nice working with him and i really hope I get to work with him again.
