CM Yogi’s visit to Varanasi: Review of development projects, flood relief and strict instructions on law and order. CM Yogi Varanasi Vikas Pariyojana Badh Rahat Law Order

CM Yogi Adityanath reached Varanasi and reviewed development projects, law and order and flood relief works. The officers were instructed to improve compensation to farmers, improve health services and repair traffic system.

Varanasi. CM Yogi reached Varanasi on Friday, where he reviewed the development projects, law and relief works of the district. The Chief Minister directed the officials that the flood affected people should get immediate relief material and their basic needs should be met. Farmers should be given timely compensation and there should not be negligence in relief work.

The Chief Minister said that all the development projects of the district should be completed within the stipulated time and with quality. He ordered the Ring Road Phase-2 to be completed by January 2026 and the Kazakpura flyover by November 2025. It was informed in the meeting that 66 large projects are running in the district at a cost of about Rs 15,000 crore.

While discussing law and order, CM Yogi said that criminals should feel fear of police. There should be regular public hearing in police stations and immediate action should be taken against criminals. He also directed to organize auto-taxi stand and vending zones to improve traffic system.

Emphasizing health services, the CM said that strict action should be taken against the brokers roaming in government hospitals. Concrete steps should also be taken against them by identifying professional blood donors. A special campaign was ordered to make Varanasi early TB free.

Expressing concern over the problem of cow dynasty and stray dogs, CM said that better facilities, availability of green fodder and sick animals should be treated immediately in destitute cow shelter sites. Also, the Municipal Corporation, Panchayati Raj and Veterinary Department together find a permanent solution to the problem of stray dogs.

The CM also clarified that a fine will be charged if there is no timely development work on the land allotted by VDA and UPCida. He ordered to ensure adequate availability of fertilizer and stop black marketing.

The Prime Minister of Mauritius is proposed in Varanasi in the coming days. Regarding this, CM Yogi instructed to complete the preparations for security and reception on time. He said that this opportunity will further strengthen Kashi’s global identity.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Dr. Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, Minister of Labor and Employment Anil Rajbhar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal, District Panchayat President, Mayor, Mandalayukta, Police Commissioner, DIG and officials of various departments were present.
