Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that India’s sage tradition has always believed that the mind is the cause of both bondage and salvation of a person. Referring to Sadhguru Ravidas ji’s statement “If the mind is healed then there is Ganga in the pond”, he said that the person who turns his extrovert mind introvert not only attains spiritual peace but also opens the way for world welfare.

CM said that the root of terrorism, disturbance and anarchy in the world today is the fickle and negative tendencies of the mind. One side of the mind inspires us to do good works in a positive direction, while the other side leads us towards negativity and gives rise to demonic tendencies. Indian tradition has also understood it as terrorism and has fought against it at the physical and spiritual level.
