UP Mafia Free State: CM Yogi Adityanath in Gorakhpur said that now UP is riotous and mafia -free. At the inauguration of Kalyan Mandapam, he counted the achievements of encephalitis control, employment, industry, housing schemes and tourism development.

CM yogi adityanath on mafia: “Have you ever thought that Uttar Pradesh can become riotous and mafia -free?” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked the public at an event organized in Gorakhpur and then replied himself, “Today’s UP is riotous, mafia -free.” The Chief Minister arrived on Saturday to inaugurate two Kalyan Mandapam in Manbela and Raptinagar Extension Scheme.

Yogi said that till eight years ago no one could have imagined that riots and mafia culture would be eradicated from UP. Goons are no longer threatened for sisters and daughters and traders. The common people are staying relaxed and youth are getting opportunities near the house instead of wandering for employment.

Kalyan Mandapam: Big gift for public

The main attraction of the program was two Kalyan Mandapam built by Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA). Manbella’s Mandapam has been prepared at a cost of about Rs 2.65 crore and the mandapam of Raptinagar Extension Scheme at a cost of Rs 85 lakh. Marriage, social and cultural programs will be organized here at low cost. Yogi said that this initiative is now being adopted in other cities as well and poor-middle class families are getting great relief.

Treatment from encephalitis to ‘sick mentality’

Standing on the land of Manbella, CM Yogi also shared memories of his MP Kaal. He said, “Before 2017, there was panic on every mother’s face in this season that which child would fall prey to encephalitis. Today the situation has changed.” He said that the encephalitis ward of the medical college is air conditioned and the introduction of AIIMS has given a new identity to health services.

What changed in health services?

The Chief Minister claimed that no one has to face trouble for treatment. Government hospitals have modern facilities, the poor are getting free treatment up to five lakh rupees from the Ayushman Yojana and those who do not have a card are being given assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Gorakhpur: New Center of Industry and Employment

Referring to dozens of factories in the Gida region, CM Yogi said that it was a dream to have an industry in Gorakhpur. Today, big companies are coming here and the youth are getting employment near the house. The resumption of fertilizer factory and Pipraich sugar mill is part of this thinking.

How many lives changed with housing schemes?

Under the Raptinagar Extension Scheme, the CM handed over the allocation letters to the beneficiaries and said that it is the responsibility of the government to give house to every poor. He informed that in the last eight years, more than 57 lakh houses in the state have been made available to the needy.

New identity of Gorakhpur: Tourism and Development

From Ramgarhtal to Chiluatal, the tourist centers of the city are now buzzing with the crowd of families. Yogi said that Gorakhpur is no longer to hide identity, but is becoming synonymous with development. He called upon the citizens to take a pledge of Gorakhpur developed by 2047 and developed Uttar Pradesh.
