In Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered a thorough investigation into the recognition and admission process of all universities and colleges. In 15 days, the report will have to be sent to the government, if irregularities are found, strict action will be taken on the institutions.

Recognition and admission process will be thoroughly examined in all universities and colleges of the state.

Special investigation team will be formed in every division

After the Chief Minister’s order, a special investigation team will now be formed in every division. The team will consist of a senior administrative officer, a police officer and an officer of a education department. This team will go to the ground level and reveal the truth of the recognition and admission process of institutions.

Educational institutions will have to submit documents

During the investigation, all educational institutions will have to give affidavits, in which it has to be clarified that they are operating only the courses which are recognized by the regulatory body or university. In addition, it will be mandatory to present the list and recognition letter of all the courses operated.

Strict action will be taken on illegal entry

If the investigation confirms a course without any recognition or illegal entry is confirmed by an institution, strict action will be taken against them. Not only the institute will be punished but the full fees recovered from the students will have to be returned with interest.

Government will have to send report in 15 days

Orders have been ordered to initiate the investigation immediately. After completing the investigation at each district level, the government will have to send an integrated report within 15 days. Chief Minister Yogi has clearly stated that this is not only a formality, but an issue related to the future and quality of education of the students. The entire process will be monitored by the Mandalayukta himself.

Strict message from CM Yogi

The Chief Minister has directed the officials that negligence or laxity will not be tolerated at any level. The government’s clear message is- Transparency in education is the right of students and in any case it will not be allowed to weaken.
