CM Yogi inaugurated the 3-day trade show in Gorakhpur and inaugurated development works worth Rs 408 crore. The youth got skill certificates. He said that investment in UP is increasing rapidly and proposals worth Rs 5 lakh crore will come on the ground in December.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the aim of the Uttar Pradesh government is that lakhs of youth of the state should get jobs and employment in their own district and home area. A large scale work has been done for this. He said that the government has created such a safe environment where there is no hooliganism, no goonda tax, no mafia rule and no anarchy. Zero tolerance policy has been adopted against criminals and corrupt people and action is being taken accordingly. The result of this is that today Uttar Pradesh has become a model state of the country in terms of law and order. Now there is no mafia and curfew in the state, but a festive atmosphere.
Inauguration and foundation stone laying of works worth Rs 408 crore on the 36th foundation day of GIDA
On Saturday, CM Yogi attended the 36th Foundation Day celebration of Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA). Here he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 114 development works worth Rs 408 crore in various sectors of GIDA. He handed over allotment certificates to five investors out of 115 plots allotted for investment worth Rs 6139 crore. Certificates were given to the youth who completed skill development training at NIELIT campus. CM also inaugurated the three-day UP State Trade Show. Apart from this, the foundation stone of a flatted factory worth Rs 34 crore in Lucknow and ODOP packaging CFC built at a cost of Rs 3.91 crore in Gorakhpur was also laid.
Will not allow injustice to farmers: CM Yogi
In his address, the Chief Minister said that the security environment in Uttar Pradesh today is such that it sets an example for the entire country. He said that it is the priority of the government to give proper compensation to the farmers, communicate directly with them and carry forward the development work without uprooting any poor. Due to this policy, today UP has become a state with excellent infrastructure.
Work stalled for a decade after establishment of GIDA
CM said that GIDA was established 36 years ago, but from 1989 to 1998 its industrial activities remained almost closed. Development was halted due to protests, demonstrations and chaos. During this time, the fertilizer factory of Gorakhpur was closed and the disease of encephalitis caused huge losses in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Investment proposals worth Rs 5 lakh crore will hit the ground in December
The Chief Minister said that the country is changing under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Uttar Pradesh is also moving forward at the same pace. After the coming of the double engine government, UP received investment proposals worth Rs 45 lakh crore, out of which investments worth Rs 15 lakh crore have already come on ground. Proposals worth Rs 5 lakh crore are going to hit the ground in December. Due to these investments, lakhs of youth are getting employment in their own district.
Not sick, now Uttar Pradesh is a state with ‘unlimited potential’
CM Yogi said that UP is no longer sick but is the fastest growing economy of India. The country’s largest rail network, first rapid train, most metro cities and most airports are in UP. Asia’s largest airport of Jewar is also ready, which will be inaugurated soon.
Rain of jobs due to increase in investment
CM Yogi said that with the investment of Rs 15 lakh crore in the state, 1.5 crore youth have got jobs. 40,000 youth have got employment in GIDA alone. He said that the more investment increases, the more job opportunities will be created.
Previous governments accused of appeasement and anarchy
CM said that earlier governments used to divide the society in the name of caste, language and region. Hooliganism and illegal occupation was at its peak. But the double engine government took strict action against such people and today factories are being built on the same captured lands.
Hoisting of religious flag in Ayodhya – enthusiasm across the country
CM Yogi told that on November 25, PM Modi hoisted the religious flag in Ayodhya, seeing which the whole country was filled with enthusiasm. He said that India can move forward only by being proud of its heritage. Just two days after the hoisting of the flag, India became the third largest economy in the world.
Rapid industrial development is now taking place in Purvanchal
The Chief Minister said that earlier there were no industries in Eastern UP and those that were there were being closed. Investors were afraid to come here because of mafia. But after 2017, the situation changed and now Gorakhpur-Gida area has become the first choice of investors. In the last eight years, 500 industrial units were established, more than Rs 11,618 crore investment came in and about 40,000 youth got jobs. Reliance Group, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola and many big companies are investing here.
Land allotted to Geeta Press also
CM Yogi said that ‘Geeta Press’, a symbol of India’s Sanatan tradition, has also been allotted 10 acres of land in Gida. NIELIT students were also given certificates. He expressed confidence that GIDA will soon become the biggest industrial hub of Eastern UP.
CM Yogi’s leadership is important in the industrial development of the state – Nandi
Industrial Development Minister Nandagopal Nandi said that CM Yogi has brought UP out of darkness and taken it to a new era of development. GIDA is becoming a model industrial development authority today.
MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan said – There is a threat of infrastructure and investment in UP.
Rakesh Sachan said that infrastructure and industries have developed rapidly under the leadership of CM Yogi. The target of CM Yuva Yojana has also been crossed.
Investment boom due to establishment of religion-MP Ravikishan
Ravikishan Shukla said that where religion is established, investment and employment increases. He told that Gida area, where earlier the way for a graveyard was being searched, is today shining with big industries.
UP’s industrial progress visible in trade show
CM Yogi also inaugurated the three-day trade show organized on the Foundation Day. 200 stalls were set up here, in which ODOP, small scale industries, heavy industries and Made in UP products were visible. The stalls attracted people and showed enthusiasm among the entrepreneurs.
