Participating in the discussion on the supplementary budget during the winter session of the Assembly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath clearly laid out the priorities, achievements and policies of the government before the House. He also answered the questions raised by the opposition with facts.

The Chief Minister said that security, rule of law and development are the top priorities of the Uttar Pradesh government and on these basis the image of the state has changed in the country and the world. During this, he made a sharp attack on the opposition and said that if the advice which is being given to the government today, had been given to the earlier governments, the situation in the state would have been different.

Government will take opposition’s questions and suggestions seriously

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while thanking the Leader of Opposition and leaders of all parties, said that most of the topics raised in the House during the winter session are related to the general public and are important for the development of the state.

He said that the government takes the important suggestions given by the opposition seriously and necessary action will be taken on them. Describing the Leader of Opposition as senior and experienced, the Chief Minister said that his spontaneity and simplicity gives positive direction to the House.

Role of opposition is natural, but answers to questions are necessary

The Chief Minister said that it is natural to criticize the actions of the government while being in the opposition, because this is the role of the opposition. You have raised questions on the size of the government budget and the contribution of the government to the economy of Uttar Pradesh in the last eight and a half years. He said that if these sermons had been given nine-ten years ago, when the Samajwadi Party was in power and the BJP was in the opposition, then perhaps the situation in the state would have been different.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before the year 2017, there was anarchy, disorder and identity crisis in Uttar Pradesh. The people of the state know very well who was responsible for this. Security and rule of law are the first priority of the government

The Chief Minister said that any person, society or organization wants security first. There should be rule of law, every person, every daughter and every businessman should feel safe, this is the first responsibility of any government. He said that the change that has taken place in the image of Uttar Pradesh before and after 2017 is in front of both the country and the world. Earlier the identity of the state was associated with riots and anarchy, which caused pain to everyone.

Better security environment in Uttar Pradesh today: CM Yogi

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that today when going inside and outside the state, people themselves say that there is a better security environment in Uttar Pradesh now. There are no riots, no anarchy and the rule of law has been established.

No matter which side the daughter belongs to, she will definitely get justice.

The Chief Minister said that an example of how justice is done can be seen in the Pooja Pal case. Earlier, it was a compulsion to bow before the mafia, but today the government has made it clear that whichever party the daughter belongs to, she will get justice under any circumstances. He said that the government will definitely give justice to Riddhima Yadav whose case has been raised in the House. This is not just a matter of power or opposition, but a matter of security and respect of the state.

Clear message of strict action against illegal encroachments

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that illegal occupation of any monument, mythological site or government land will not be accepted. Irrespective of the circumstances, strict action will be taken against illegal encroachment. He said that government land is for the poor and not for the mafia. The government will take strict action against illegal occupation and unethical activities.

SP’s opposition to the bill giving rights to the poor is unfortunate

Taking aim at the opposition, the Chief Minister said that it was unfortunate that when the Rural Records Amendment Bill was brought in the House, the Samajwadi Party opposed it. He said that this bill, for the first time, gives the poor the legal right to own their house and this right will be registered in the name of the female member, so that she can become economically empowered.

Security environment becomes the basis for investment

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that if any mafia or anti-social element indulges in unethical activities by occupying government land, then strictest action will be taken against him. He said that it is this environment of security and law which has changed the image of Uttar Pradesh and due to which investment is increasing in the state today. This change is result based and the people of the state have responded to it before and will continue to respond to it in future also.
