In the Janata Darshan organized in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi Adityanath met about 300 people and heard their problems. Instructions were given to take immediate action on problems like housing, treatment and land disputes. He said that the government is committed to helping every needy.

Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, for the second consecutive day during his stay in Gorakhpur, met people in the Janata Darshan organized at Gorakhnath temple on Thursday morning and listened to their problems. He said that the government is committed to providing benefits of welfare schemes to every needy and eligible person and providing effective solutions to all problems. He also assured to provide housing to the needy and financial assistance for treatment to the sick.

Direct communication with about 300 people, quick cognizance of problems

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directly met about 300 people in the public darshan organized at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan of Gorakhnath Temple. He himself reached out among the people, listened carefully to their problems and took their applications. He immediately sent all the applications to the concerned administrative and police officers and directed that all the cases should be resolved in a timely, fair and satisfactory manner.

The needy will get permanent housing

A woman raised the problem of housing in Janata Darshan. The Chief Minister assured him that he would be provided accommodation under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He directed the officials to provide the benefit of permanent houses to the needy on priority, because the government intends that no family should remain houseless.

Assurance of financial assistance to sick people

A woman sought financial help for her husband’s treatment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured him that the amount required for treatment would be made available from the discretionary fund. Similarly, many other people also came seeking help for treatment. The Chief Minister clearly said that no one’s treatment will be allowed to be stopped due to lack of funds. He directed the officers to prepare and make available the estimate for the treatment of seriously ill persons soon so that the government can immediately provide the necessary funds.

Instructions for strict action on land grab complaints

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave strict instructions to the police on all complaints related to land grabbing. He said that if any bully is forcibly occupying someone’s land, then strict action should be taken against him. A woman told that some people are trying to capture her land. On this, the Chief Minister directed the officials to immediately give possession of her land to the woman.

Emphasis on ensuring benefits of schemes to eligible beneficiaries

CM Yogi Adityanath told senior officials that if any eligible person is facing any kind of obstacle in getting the benefits of government schemes, then it must be investigated. He warned that if negligence is found at any level, action will be taken. He laid special emphasis on prompt and sensitive response from officials to public problems.
