Ayodhya Deepotsav 2025: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will celebrate the festival of Diwali with the Nishad and slum families of Ayodhya on the next day of Deepotsav.

Ayodhya News: This time the ninth Deepotsav is going to add a new social tradition in the history of Ayodhya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided that on the next day of Deepotsav, he will visit Nishad and slum families and celebrate the festival of Diwali with them. This program of the Chief Minister is being organized with the message that the lamp of no house should remain extinguished in the city of Lord Shri Ram.

Will visit Hanumangarhi and Ramlala

On the main day of Chief Minister Deepotsav, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will first reach Hanumangarhi temple and worship Hanuman ji, after that he will perform special worship in the court of Ramlala. The Chief Minister will pray to Lord Shri Ram for the prosperity, peace and welfare of the people of the state. After this, he will meet the prominent saints and monks of Ayodhya and receive blessings and will also go to Karsevak.

Fruit feast and lighting of lamp in Nishad Basti

After having darshan of Ram Lalla, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will go to Abhiramdas Nagar (Nishad Basti) of ward number one, where he will celebrate the festival of Diwali with local families. During this, the Chief Minister will eat fruits communityally and will participate in the mass celebration by lighting lamps with about 400 people. The Chief Minister will visit the homes of Nishad families and light the lamps, distribute sweets and trophies to the children, and interact with some senior citizens and extend best wishes for the Diwali.

Will celebrate Diwali with children in slum Devkali

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach the slum of Deokali ward, where he will encourage the children and share the happiness of Diwali by lighting lamps with them. This program of the Chief Minister will give a strong message of harmony and participation among the poor, deprived and backward sections of the society.

Administration made elaborate preparations

  • District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde said that the administration has made complete preparations for this special program of the Chief Minister. Special arrangements are being made for security, cleanliness, lighting and decoration in the settlements so that the local people do not face any kind of inconvenience. Municipal Corporation, Electricity Department and sanitation workers are continuously active. Wherever the Chief Minister’s visit is proposed, the work of repair of roads, decoration of lamps and beautification is going on at a fast pace.
