Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that Uttar Pradesh has now come out of the image of a ‘sick’ state and has become a ‘breakthrough’ state. The state has moved forward in the direction of recoding this new identity, which casteist and family based forces are not able to accept. These are the same people who earlier used to be supporters of the rioters.
Inauguration of flyover and rail overbridge in Gorakhpur
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was addressing a public meeting in Gorakhpur on Tuesday after inaugurating the Khazanchi Square flyover built at a cost of Rs 96.50 crore and the Bargadwa-Nakaha rail overbridge built at a cost of Rs 152.19 crore. The Chief Minister first reached Khajanchi Square and unveiled the stone plaque and inaugurated the flyover by cutting the ribbon. After this, he inaugurated the Bargadwa-Nakaha Rail Overbridge and dedicated it to the public.
Uttar Pradesh became a festival state from a nuisance state.
In a function organized near the railway overbridge, the Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh has now become a festival state and not a nuisance state. Due to strong law and order, the rioters have either left the state or are hiding in holes. He said that strict legal action was taken against the rioters who remained, due to which the state was made riot-free. Due to this, the supporters and sympathizers of the rioters are upset because now both their politics and livelihood are being affected.
Before 2017 there was an atmosphere of fear and chaos
Chief Minister Yogi reminded the public about the situation before 2017 and said that at that time there was an atmosphere of fear, terror, riots and anarchy in the state. Neither the daughters nor the businessmen were safe. He said that people doing caste politics only thought about the interests of their families and played with the future of the youth. It was these people who had created an identity crisis for the state and its youth.
Uttar Pradesh changed under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi
The Chief Minister said that after 2017, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh has become a state that finds solutions to problems. He said that to make the future of the coming generations safe and bright, it is necessary to continuously move forward the development journey and keep law and order strong.
Investment flow, employment guarantee
CM Yogi said that due to better security system and strong infrastructure, the double engine government has brought a flood of investment in the state. He said that through skill development, youth are being given employment in their own fields. Investment proposals worth Rs 45 lakh crore have come in the state, which are a guarantee of providing employment to 1.5 crore youth.
Gorakhpur is becoming industrial and employment center
Giving the example of Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister said that a long chain of industries is coming up from Gida to Dhuriapar. Due to this, local youth are getting employment in their own district.
Gorakhpur will be known not by mafia and mosquitoes but by world class roads
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Gorakhpur will no longer be identified by mafia, mosquitoes and encephalitis, but by world class roads and modern infrastructure. Today facilities like four lane connectivity, link expressway, GIDA, fertilizer factory and AIIMS are available in Gorakhpur. Four lane roads have been built from Gorakhpur Airport to Sonauli, Lucknow and Varanasi. Ramgarhtal, which was once the center of illegal activities, has today become the new identity of the city.
Development will not be the legacy of any one family
The Chief Minister clearly said that now development will not be the legacy of any one region or family. There will be equal development in every district and every area of the state. He said that Gorakhpur-like development will also be seen in Lucknow, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Azamgarh, Bundelkhand and western Uttar Pradesh.
Record number of devotees in Prayagraj Mahakumbh
The Chief Minister said that earlier 10-15 lakh devotees used to come to the Magh Mela in Prayagraj. Double Engine: After the government guaranteed security and facilities, this time four and a half crore devotees took bath in the Sangam on Mauni Amavasya and three and a half crore devotees took bath in the Sangam on Vasant Panchami.

Features of Bargadwa-Nakaha Rail Overbridge and Khajanchi Flyover
The length of the rail overbridge built between Nakaha Jungle-Maniram stations on Bargadwa intersection to Jail Road is about 1092 meters and it has cost Rs 152.19 crore. This will provide relief from the jam at the railway gate and will ease the traffic in the northern part of the city. The 605 meter long Khazanchi Square flyover, which costs Rs 96.50 crore, connects Jail Bypass to Sports College Road. This will make access to Sonauli Road and Fertilizer Factory Road easier.
