During his visit to Japan, CM Yogi inspected the hydrogen power plant of Yamanashi. He understood power-to-gas technology, in which green hydrogen is created from solar and wind energy. This model is helpful in reducing carbon emissions and promoting clean energy.
Yamanashi (Japan)/Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his visit to Japan, on Thursday visited a state-of-the-art hydrogen power plant located in Yamanashi province. During this, he closely observed the Power-to-Gas system running there and took information about its complete functioning from the experts. The Chief Minister understood from the technical experts present at the plant how renewable energy is converted into clean fuel and how it can be used in the energy system of the future.
Power-to-Gas Technology: Green Hydrogen Production from Solar and Wind Power
At this plant in Yamanashi, electricity generated from renewable energy sources such as solar and wind is converted into hydrogen through a power-to-gas system. This green hydrogen is later used for fuel, energy storage and clean transportation. This technology reduces carbon emissions and makes an important contribution to environmental protection. The Chief Minister explained this entire process in detail and described it as an important part of the future clean energy revolution.
Green Hydrogen Model: Effective example of clean energy and green development
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised this initiative of Yamanashi and said that green hydrogen can become a strong base of energy in the future. He said that this model is an effective example towards clean energy, green development and environmental protection. This not only strengthens energy security but also helps in reducing pollution.
The Chief Minister clarified that the Uttar Pradesh government is also taking concrete steps to promote green hydrogen, solar energy and other clean energy sources. Industrial investment is being encouraged in the state, research and development is being promoted and special attention is being given to adoption of new technologies. The aim of the government is that Uttar Pradesh should become self-reliant in the field of energy and fulfill its responsibility towards the environment.
Green Mobility Projects: Clean transportation will get new momentum in UP
This visit of the Chief Minister to Japan is considered important towards strengthening technical cooperation. This visit is expected to give new impetus to clean energy projects and green mobility schemes in Uttar Pradesh. Experts believe that Japan’s experience and technology can bring a big change in the field of energy storage, clean transportation and industrial energy use in Uttar Pradesh.
