Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to establish ‘Vaidehi Art Gallery’ based on the life and ideals of Mata Sita in Shri Ayodhya Dham. These instructions were given during a review meeting of the Housing and Urban Planning Department on Wednesday. The Chief Minister said that Sita Mata is a unique symbol of Indian culture, dignity, compassion and moral values. There is a great need of today’s time to make the new generation deeply acquainted with his life and character.
Vision to give life of Sita Mata to life with modern technology
Talking about the outline of the art gallery, the Chief Minister clarified that this gallery will not be just a traditional art museum, but will present a retelling of Sita Mata’s life, sacrifice, patience, strength and dignity through modern technology. He said that the gallery should be developed in such a way that it becomes a vibrant cultural experience center, where visitors can not only get information but can also feel the life values of Sita Mata.
The spirit of divine heritage reflected in the narrative, design and visual language
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed that the narrative of the gallery, the architecture, design, visual language, art and technology—all should reflect the feeling that we are retelling a divine and historical heritage. He said that the aim of the gallery should be that the visitors should not just see the life-message of Sita Mata, but also experience, understand and assimilate it in their lives.
Possible development site near Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple
While discussing with Ayodhya Development Authority, the Chief Minister said that this project can be developed in Vashishtha Bhawan complex located near Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. This area is the center of movement of lakhs of devotees every day. He said that the construction of Vaidehi Art Gallery will be an important step towards establishing Ayodhya as a global cultural city.
Mithila culture and folk traditions get special place
The Chief Minister specifically directed that the culture, folk tradition, art, painting and cultural heritage of Mithila should be prominently displayed in this gallery, so that the original cultural environment of Mata Sita can be presented correctly.
