CM Yogi Adityanath announced a new system of security and financial assistance for the sanitation workers on Maharishi Valmiki Manifest Day. Health insurance scheme will also be applicable, including help of Rs 35-40 lakh in accident or disaster.
There has been a big relief news for the cleaning workers dedicated to cleanliness. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced at the Maharishi Valmiki manifest day celebrations that the scavengers will now get payment from the government’s corporation directly instead of outsourcing companies. Also, health insurance cover will be given Rs 5 lakh. In the event of an accident or disaster, financial assistance of Rs 35 to 40 lakhs will be made, so that their families will be in financial security.
Message dedicated to Valmiki society: Security and respect is the real identity of society
CM Yogi said that your safety is the safety of the society and your honor is the honor of Lord Valmiki’s legacy. Maharishi Valmiki, the fate of the tradition of great men, emphasized the importance of character. Giving the example of Swami Vivekananda, he said that not the dress, but the character is identified. Talking about Lord Rama’s dignity, CM Yogi said that Rama never violated Laxman Rekha. He threw light on the importance of relationships like brother-brother, father and son in the society.

Maharishi Valmiki’s social and cultural contribution
CM said that every Dev temple has a picture of Valmiki and all the narrators worship him. Recalling the tradition of the great sages of India, he appreciated the government’s efforts for social harmony of the society. At the same time, while targeting the Samajwadi Party, CM Yogi said on the double character of SP that he resorts to casteism for vote banks. He gave examples of changing the names of various medical colleges and threatening to break social justice monuments.
Efforts to improve the condition of scavengers
The CM said that the scavengers were exploited in the former governments, but now arrangements for better honorarium, health insurance and social security have been made for them. CM Yogi asked the Valmiki society to teach children, because educated youth will lead the society in future. He gave the example of every member of the family and the dedication of Mahatma Valmiki.
Establishment of Valmiki temple in Ram temple complex and inspiration for society
CM said that the temple of Valmiki is also included in seven sages in the Ram temple complex. He said that the society should remember the legacy of Ram and Valmiki, so that the society can become strong through devotion. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, BJP State President Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Tourism Minister Jayveer Singh, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal and other senior leaders were present in the program.
