CM Yogi Adityanath started the first phase of ‘GST Reform Awareness Campaign’. The aim of the campaign is to bring GST reforms to the people, simplify business and empower self-reliant India by promoting indigenous products.
Lucknow, 20 September. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with all NDA MLAs and ministers on Saturday through video conferencing. In the meeting, the first phase (22 to 29 September 2025) scheme of ‘GST Reform Awareness Campaign’ was shared. The goal of this campaign is to bring GST reforms to the public and promote indigenous products.
GST reforms benefit from GST reform in festive season
Chief Minister Yogi said that this campaign will be very useful for traders, shopkeepers and general public during festivals. He instructed all the public representatives to implement it effectively so that the public gets the benefit of cheap goods and easy arrangements to the traders.
Public representatives will participate in daily markets
The Chief Minister said that the campaign will be led by the public representatives of every region. The Chief Minister and both Deputy Chief Ministers will also participate in this initiative.
- MPs, ministers, MLAs, MLCs and councilors will go to different markets of their area daily for 1-2 hours daily.
- The minister in charge in the districts will interact with the local public representatives and connect them with the campaign.
CM Yogi’s honor to shopkeepers and the message of indigenous
The Chief Minister said that the public representatives will visit the markets daily and thank the shopkeepers by presenting rose flowers. They will be told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented GST reforms on his demand.
The shops were called to put a poster of ‘Proudly say this indigenous’. Shopkeepers were urged to give priority to indigenous products. The Chief Minister said that Swadeshi is not just a slogan, but the identity of India’s labor, skill and hard work.

Customers know about the benefits of GST reforms
During the campaign, customers will be communicated and they will be told that the goods have become cheaper than the GST reform. They will also be motivated to adopt Indian and local products. Video messages from customers will also be recorded, in which they will thank the Prime Minister. These video will show the positive impact of the campaign.
Beneficial improvement for both business and consumer
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that all public representatives should explain to the public and traders in simple language:
- GST reforms have made trade easier.
- The public is getting cheap goods.
- The use of indigenous products will make India self -reliant and strong.
Minister in charge will play an important role in the districts
The Chief Minister directed that all the ministers in charge should go to their districts and communicate with local bodies, business organizations, farmers and general public. He said that GST reform:
- Its will be cheaper
- People’s purchasing power will increase
- Investment will come and
- New employment opportunities will be created.
Emphasis was also laid on festive shopping customers.
Spore towards self -reliant India and economic progress
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this campaign is not only a means of economic progress, but will realize the dream of self -sufficient India by promoting Swadeshi. He directed the public representatives to fix the next seven -day program and implement it immediately.
The Chief Minister insisted that this reform will be successful only with the cooperation of the public and the goal of developed and self -sufficient India will be fulfilled.
