Uttar Pradesh News: Sangam city Prayagraj is known as a religious, literary and cultural city. The grand and divine organization of Mahakumbh 2025 by the Yogi government took its rich cultural and religious identity across the world. After this grand event, now there will be a combination of Japanese and Sanatan culture in Kumbh Nagri.

There will be a fusion of Indian culture and Japanese culture

Despite the distance of thousands of kilometers and the difference in language, there are amazing similarities between the eternal culture of India and the traditional Shinto culture of Japan. Both the civilizations consider nature as divine, self-control as the highest value and peace as the basis of life. Kumbh city Prayagraj is going to witness the glimpse of the union of these two cultures. A public plaza park inspired by Japanese architecture and cultural symbols is being constructed here. It is being constructed by the city development agency, whose executing agency is CNDS. CNDS project manager Rohit Kumar Rana says that it will be constructed on 3 hectares near Shivalaya Park in Arail area on the banks of Yamuna in Prayagraj. Its assessment has been sent to Municipal Corporation Prayagraj. In this, common architectural symbols of Indian and Japanese culture will be used.

Confluence of spirituality in art and beauty

Prayagraj emerged as a hub of religious and spiritual parks during the Mahakumbh. A new achievement is going to be added in the construction of first Shivalaya Park and now Sahitya Park in Arail area. Public Plaza Park is being constructed on the banks of Yamuna River. Rohit Kumar Rana, project manager of the executing agency CNDS, says that 5 zones will be created in the park. In every corner of the park, there will be a glimpse of the shared values of Japan’s Shinto culture and Indian Sanatan culture. Torii gate will be constructed in place of the entrance gate to the park which is a symbol of Shinto culture. A Japanese Garden will be built in the park in which Miyawaki Forest will also be developed. Like yoga and Indian temple architecture, dance and music, Japan’s tea ceremony, ikebana and Zen gardens also reflect spirituality in the park. Zen Park will also be constructed inside this park. The art of both the countries is not just a decoration, but a medium of self-discipline and spiritual practice. The same message of harmony, peace and world brotherhood is contained in India’s “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” and Japan’s “Wa” philosophy, the reflection of which will also be seen in the symbols established here.
