On Rakshabandhan, CM Vishnudev Sai started Jashpur Express from Jashpur and presented e-rickshaws to 12 sisters of Bihan Yojana. He made announcements for women’s self -reliance, housing schemes, Mahatari Vandan Yojana, banking facility and new bus services.
Raipur. On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai started Jashpur Express from his homegragram Bagiya in Jashpur district. On this occasion, 12 sisters associated with Bihan Yojana were given e-rickshaws as a gift of rakhi. The Chief Minister also visited Bagia Niwas complex sitting in an e-rickshaw of Smt. Ghirsonika Pandey, a member of the self-help group.
The Chief Minister said that e-rickshaws are safe and low-cost means for the environment. With this, women will become self -sufficient by contributing to local transport and will be able to fulfill the needs of their family in a better way. Giving wishes for Rakshabandhan, he said that the government is fully committed to the safety, respect and cooperation of the sisters of Chhattisgarh.
The Chief Minister said that the government is completing the work of 18 lakh houses sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Also, under the Housing Plus Plus scheme, the eligible families will be provided facilities like 5 acres of unirrigated land, 2.50 acres of irrigated land, two-wheeler and Rs 15,000 monthly income.
Giving further information, CM Vishnudev Sai said that 70 lakh sisters are being given Rs 1000 every month in the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The support price of tendu leaf has been sacking Rs 5500 per standard. This step has been taken to increase the income of Tendupatta collectors. Atal Digital Facilitation Centers are being set up for banking facility in villages, which will start in all gram panchayats on Panchayat Day.
The Chief Minister said that the registration process has been made easy, transparent and digital through 10 new revolutions in the registry. Bus services have started under the Chief Minister’s Rural Bus Scheme in remote areas. Medical College, Naturopathy and Physiotherapy Centers, Government Nursing College and Physiotherapy College will also open in the district.
