CM Vishnudev Sai met the trainee officers of the State Administrative Service in Raipur and emphasized his role in society building, transparency and eradication of Naxalism. He called upon to serve with loyalty and dedication in public interest work.

Raipur. The trainee officers of the State Administrative Service (STATE Administrative Service) met courtesy at the Chief Minister’s residence office in the capital Raipur today at the Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai. The delegation consisted of 13 officers of 2024 batch and 1 officer of 2021 batch.

Chief Minister’s emphasis on the role of administrative service officers

During the discussion, the Chief Minister said that the officials of the State Administrative Service are the axis of the administration. He plays an important role in solving public problems. He also said that along with administrative responsibilities, the authorities should also worry about the good of the society as an enlightened citizen. The Chief Minister wished the officials to contribute to better society building and to discharge their ex -officio responsibilities.

Information about training and induction courses

Chhattisgarh Administration Academy Director Shri T.C. Mahawar informed the Chief Minister that the induction course of these officers, which started on 7 April 2025, is now being completed. After this, all the officers will take charge as deputy collector in various districts of the state and understand the functioning of various departments of the government.

The opportunity to share training experience

Chief Minister Shri Sai also heard his training experiences from trainee officers. He said that it is a privilege to become a state administrative service officer and not everyone gets this opportunity. The officials were expected to serve the public with full enthusiasm, loyalty and dedication and fulfill the administrative responsibilities.

Mutual relations between governance and administration

The Chief Minister said that the work of governance is to make the policies of public interest, but the administrative service officers are responsible for their implementation. He said that Chhattisgarh is a rich state, where there is abundance of minerals and forest wealth, soil is fertile and power sector is strong.

Naxalism eradication and speed of development

The Chief Minister also discussed Naxalism and said that it was a major hindrance in the development of the state. Now it is counting its last breath. The soldiers are competing with the Naxalites with full promptness. The goal of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah aims to completely end the Naxal problem by 31 March 2026. After this, the state will move at a faster pace of development.

Responsibility to bring forward tribal society

Chief Minister Shri Sai told the officials that the responsibility of the State Administrative Service Officers will be especially to bring the tribal society into the mainstream. Officers will play an important role in their development and upliftment.

Emphasis on transparency and good governance

The Chief Minister said that bringing transparency in administration is the priority of his government. Chhattisgarh is the first state where the good governance and convergence department has been created. The e-office system has been implemented in the state. He said that the new industrial policy is attracting investors and so far investment proposals of Rs 7.5 lakh crore have been received.

Timely resolution of revenue affairs

During the discussion, the Chief Minister also emphasized revenue matters. He said that these cases are directly related to the public and a small initiative of administrative officials can also bring great relief. The government is constantly making efforts that there should be a time -bound solution to revenue matters and people will easily facilitate processes online.
