CM Punk Attacked Again, Becky Lynch Retains Intercontinental Championship; Check All Winners

WWE SmackDown Results: CM Punk kicked off the action on WWE RAW before the show produced remarkably thrilling action on August 11. The latest episode of the WWE Monday Night RAW aired live from the Central Videotron Arena in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

Soon after picking up the mic to address the WWE Universe, Punk stated that he should have the title tied around his waist, he should be the Champion, but he wasn’t because he had a ‘Seth Rollins problem.’

While Punk continued his verbal attack on Rollins, LA Knight made an interruption. Knight offered a handshake, and the two stars embraced and shared a few words. Knight went on to mention that Punk deserved a shot at the title against Rollins. However, while Knight was having his title match against Rollins, he lost the opportunity due to Punk’s attack on Rollins.

Knight said that it was unnecessary to whip Rollins; he should have it after the bell, but the ‘Best in the World’ fired back, asking Knight to thank him, as he had only saved him from the vicious stomp on the concrete by Rollins. Knight added that he would beat Rollins and become the World Heavyweight Champion. If that happened, Punk would be his first defence.

Paul Heyman then appeared alongside Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, cutting the two off. After a little conversation, Punk aggressively asked them to step into the ring. Heyman agreed and announced that it would happen tonight: CM Punk & LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker & Bron Breakker.

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs Dominik Mysterio & El Grande Americano

AJ Styles teamed up with Dragon Lee to battle the team of El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio in the first fixture of WWE RAW. The match was fixed following their last week’s face-off, where Americano’s attack helped Mysterio, who unleashed a continuous attack on Lee after the match.

The four superstars produced impressive action, but Americano and Mysterio ended up registering the win in the tag-team match.

Sami Zayn vs Rusev

In hopes of getting a title shot, Sami Zayn took on Rusev, but the latter took early control. Zayn was late to pick up the momentum and almost took down Rusev as he was looking to deliver the Helluva kick.

However, Solo Siko and his MFTs (JC Mateo, Talla Tonga & Tonga Loa) came in, attacking Zayn, with Talla taking him down with a big boot.

Security and officials separated the superstars as Rusev got back to his feet on the other side of the ring. Sheamus then came in to make another interference, attacking Rusev as the two brawled through the crowd.

Becky Lynch defended the Women’s Intercontinental title against Maxxine Dupri in the WWE RAW’s co-main event.

 

CM Punk & LA Knight vs Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed – Tag Team match

In the main event of the WWE RAW, CM Punk teamed up with LA Knight to face teamed up to battle Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The match witnessed some intense action from both sides.

Rollins and Company started beating down Punk and Knight when Jey Uso rushed in with a steel chair to make the save. General Manager Adam Pearce was quick to announce a fatal four-way match for Clash in Paris, where Rollins will defend the World Heavyweight title against Jey, Knight and Punk.

A huge chaos emerged as Punk and Knight took on each other, but Rollins capitalised on the opportunity. Rollins hit a spear on Punk, followed by a Tsunami by Reed on Jey. Rollins lined up three men one by one and took them out to stand tall at the end of the show.
