While giving relief to the journalists, CM Mohan Yadav announced to keep the premium of the health and accident group insurance scheme on the old level. The government will bear additional amount. The last date for application was extended till 27 September.
Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is always standing together in the happiness and sorrow of journalists who give the right direction to the society. He informed that this year also the same premium will be taken from journalists in the health and accident group insurance scheme being run for communication representatives.
Dr. Yadav said that the government will bear the weight of additional amount of premium increased from last year. This decision will provide relief to journalists and get the benefit of the scheme easily.
Last date of insurance application extended
The Chief Minister said that the last date for application has been extended to take advantage of this scheme. The first date was 22 September, which has now been extended to 27 September.
MP government additional expenditure
The Chief Minister said that now every year the same premium will be taken from journalists which he had submitted in the year 2024-25. Due to this system, the state government will incur an additional expenditure of about Rs 4.50 crore.
