Bhopal: Chief Minister Narendra Modi has described the reduction in GST rates by Goods and Service Tax Council by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Government of India has benefited every section of the country with changes in GST rates. In his address on Independence Day, Prime Minister Shri Modi had told the ramparts of the Red Fort that, the people of the state are going to get very good facilities in the next time. We saw that in less than a month, he realized his words. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that about 90 percent of the country’s population i.e. more than 125 crore countrymen will benefit from the revolutionary change of GST. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and small and cottage industries of the state will also get its benefit in business. Under the efficient leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has become the fourth largest economy in the world and is fast moving towards third place. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed these views in a message released in Ujjain on Thursday after a change in GST slab. He also thanked Prime Minister Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for this historic decision.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the decision to cut GST rates in the GST Council meeting is similar to a bouquet for the countrymen, in which all sectors have been covered. All sections of the country will benefit with industries. A wonderful image of India is being created around the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Even in the midst of global upheaval, the government has taken care of its citizens, entrepreneurs, poor and deprived classes. Health insurance of citizens has been given additional relief in the field of health tax free tax. All the changes of GST will be implemented from Navratri i.e. 22 September this month, which will also benefit the poor, middle class and farmers. Its needs of common man such as bread, paratha, cheese, chenna will be cheap. This material is also exported on a large scale, so farmers will also benefit from this revenge. Teaching materials for school children to do zero from maps, charts, globes, pencils, sharpens, copy, notebooks from 12% are extremely important steps in terms of school children and youth.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that GST slab on 1200 cc engine capacity vehicles in the automobile sector has been reduced from 28% to 18%. This will fulfill the dream of buying a car for middle class. Also, electronic gadgets such as projector, dish, washing machines will be cheaper. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government will work in all the respective areas to get these decisions at the earliest.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that agricultural sector is the first priority for us. In order to protect the Indian agricultural business from global influences, Prime Minister Shri Modi has decided to reduce the GST rate from 18% to 5% on tractor tires, parts, biopesticides, micronutrients, drip irrigation systems, sprinkler, gardening machines. This reflects our commitment to farming welfare. On the other hand, citizens get benefits in the health sector, for this it is revolutionary to end the tax by removing the health insurance policy from the current 18% slab. Also, many life saving medicines have been freed for patients with deadly diseases like cancer. The needy will get direct benefit of this decision.
