CM Mohan Yadav strict on carbide gun accidents, gave necessary instructions on treatment and awareness of victims

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met the patients injured by carbide guns at Bhopal Hamidia Hospital and gave instructions for their proper treatment. He ordered strict action against carbide guns in the entire state and help to the victims with the help of the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the ophthalmology ward on the 11th floor of Block-2 of Hamidia Hospital, Bhopal and met the citizens and children injured by carbide guns. He inquired about the health of the patients and discussed the treatment status with medical experts. The Chief Minister directed the doctors to provide proper and advanced medical facilities to all the victims so that there is no shortage in the treatment of any patient.

Instructions for treatment of carbide gun affected people across the state

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there should be no reduction in the treatment of children and citizens injured by carbide guns in other districts of the state including Bhopal. He also gave instructions to provide assistance to these patients through Chief Minister’s voluntary grant. All cases are being continuously monitored by the Health Department. At the same time, the police administration has been instructed to intensify raids and investigation on illegal manufacturing and sale of carbide guns.

Most of the injured used carbide guns themselves

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Prashant Malviya, resident of Narikkheda, admitted in the hospital, Karan Panthi of Garib Nagar Chhola, Arish of Bhanpur, and Ansh Prajapati of Parvaliya Road. Most of these teenagers admitted that they themselves suffered injuries using carbide guns. Only Ansh Prajapati told that he was injured due to gun firing by other youths. The Chief Minister advised the children to be careful and urged them to stay away from such dangerous devices.

The family members expressed satisfaction with the treatment and also gave a message of awareness.

Parents of patients present in the hospital termed the use of carbide guns by their children as an unfortunate and cautionary incident. He said that now he himself and the people around him are completely alert and aware. The family members of Karan Panthi of poor town Chhola said that they have advised other families of their area also not to use carbide guns. Now no one in his colony is using it.

Senior officials were present during the visit of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

During Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s inspection of Hamidia Hospital, Principal Secretary Health Shri Sandeep Yadav and Commissioner Public Relations Shri Deepak Kumar Saxena were also present. The Chief Minister directed the officials to continuously monitor all the injured patients and, if necessary, refer them to higher medical institutions.
