Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 85 crore in Mahugaon, Indore. Inaugurated Nanaji Deshmukh tourist spot, announced new hospital and gave municipality status to Mahugaon.

Indore. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Sunday inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of various development works completed and proposed at a cost of Rs 85 crore in Mahugaon under Mhow assembly constituency of Indore district. During this, he unveiled the statue of national sage Nanaji Deshmukh and also inaugurated the Nanaji Deshmukh tourist spot developed at a cost of Rs 4.50 crore.

The Chief Minister inaugurated Sandipani Government Model Higher Secondary School, Mhow, built at a cost of Rs 38 crore. Along with this, he inaugurated the Chandrashekhar Azad Sarovar (Kakadpura Pond) park and ghat built at a cost of Rs 1 crore and also inspected the area.

Mahugaon Municipal Council will become municipality, 100 bedded hospital announced

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that development is taking place at a fast pace in the state. The government is moving forward with the aim of making Madhya Pradesh self-reliant through balanced development of rural and urban areas. He announced construction of a new 100-bed hospital for Mahugaon. Also announced to give the status of Municipality to Mahugaon Municipal Council. The Chief Minister said that the aim of the state government is to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person of the society. He mentioned the work being done in the honor of tribal hero Tantya Mama and informed about the decision to celebrate Bhagoria Utsav as a national festival.

Tribute to the ideals of national sage Nanaji Deshmukh

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, remembering the national sage Nanaji Deshmukh, said that he was not just a politician but a great motivator of social change. He dedicated his life to rural development, education and self-reliance. Nanaji Deshmukh believed that the soul of India resides in the villages. Only when villages become strong, the country will become strong. His development models are still a source of inspiration for the entire country.

Mhow area: Important from historical, spiritual and industrial point of view

The Chief Minister said that Mhow area is very important from historical, spiritual and industrial point of view. This is the birthplace of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Nearby Janapav mountain is famous as the birthplace of Lord Parashurama.

Mhow area has also been the workplace of Krantisurya Tantya Mama. For this reason this entire area holds the importance of a pilgrimage site. He said that today rapid industrial development is taking place in Mhow and surrounding areas. One feels proud after seeing industries, colleges, schools and other development works. He congratulated the people of the area for their active participation in development and said that knowledge of both weapons and scriptures for self-defense has been a part of our ancient tradition.
