Atmanirbhar Bharat: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inspired the people of the state in the Self-reliant India resolution campaign. Adopt Swadeshi, support local industries and artisans and move towards self-reliant Madhya Pradesh.
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while recently addressing the Self-reliant India Sankalp Abhiyan, appealed to the people of the state to adopt indigenous products and support local industries. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is now emerging as one of the important manufacturing centers of the world under Make in India and Self-reliant India Mission.
The Chief Minister clarified that even our small everyday decisions can contribute in making the country self-reliant. Like giving preference to Indian products at home, in the market and at the workplace, adopting indigenous alternatives instead of imported goods and supporting farmers and artisans.
What can change our economy by adopting Swadeshi?
Dr. Yadav said that historically trade and industry have been prosperous in India. Due to disciplined life and the idea of “live and let live”, works like education and health have been successful in the society. He said the harsh policies and license quotas of previous governments affected the economic structure. The Chief Minister also told that former Prime Minister Late. Atal Bihari Vajpayee proved India’s strength on the international stage. At the same time, due to the policies of Prime Minister Modi, simple, transparent and easy rules have been implemented for businessmen and the general public.
How will the state government achieve the goal of self-reliant Madhya Pradesh?
The Chief Minister said that the state government is promoting industry and investment so that local products and indigenous businesses get a boost. He inspired the public to use indigenous ingredients as much as possible in the upcoming festivals.

- Adopting indigenous alternatives in place of imported goods
- Giving priority to Indian products at home, work and society
- To promote local industry by supporting villages, farmers and artisans.

Dr. Yadav especially appealed to the youth and children to adopt Swadeshi, use Indian languages, and give priority to the country’s tourist destinations. He said that the new generation is the key to the self-reliant future of the country.
