Bundelkhand News: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated Gyanveer University in Sagar. This is a new chapter of education in Bundelkhand which will empower the youth. He also announced a package of Rs 27 thousand crore for the development of the area.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that India has a matriarchy dominant culture. India’s image has been that of a world leader. There is only Indian culture in the world, which has spread the stream of knowledge based on its values to every corner of the world through Takshashila and Nalanda universities. India’s times have changed under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Now our country is leading the world in the field of Artificial Intelligence. India is becoming number one in the world in modern technology on the strength of its skills. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the great educationist Dr. Hari Singh Gaur created a new sunrise of education in the Sagar of Bundelkhand by investing his savings. Due to the efforts of Shri Gaur, Bundelkhand has got the gift of a Central University. The students who have studied various courses here have created their own identity in the country and abroad. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the construction of libraries for the children of workers in Rahatgarh and Jessie Nagar. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration program of Gyanveer University in Sagar on Wednesday.
Wrote a new chapter of education in MP
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today a new chapter of education is being written in Sagar by the grace of Mother Saraswati. The modern temple of education in the form of Gyanveer University will give new heights to the capabilities and resolutions of the youth of Bundelkhand. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput for this initiative. He said that not only the name of Gyanveer’s university but also the reverence of a son at the feet of his parents is Suman. Minister Shri Rajput has dedicated this institute by taking the word Gyan in the name of his revered mother Gyanbai Ji and the word Veer in the name of his revered father Veer Singh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this university will open new doors of dreams for the youth of Bundelkhand. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called upon the youth to become proficient in skills and technology to keep pace with the times.
Rs 27 thousand crore approved for development of Bundelkhand
- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the able guidance of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the state government has done remarkable work for the all-round development of Bundelkhand. The works done after 2003 have rejuvenated the Bundelkhand region. During the tenure of his previous governments, development was not visible anywhere on the ground. Bundelkhand has been an area of top priority for the state government even during the tenure of former Chief Minister Ms. Uma Bharti, Rev. Mr. Babulal Gaur and former Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Our government recently approved a special package of Rs 27 thousand crore for the development of Bundelkhand in the cabinet meeting held in Khajuraho. This will bring investment worth crores in the area and create employment opportunities for a large number of youth. Every possible effort is being made to advance the youth in the state.
- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bundelkhand is the land of heroes and Mahavirs. Bundelkhand is also identified with Maharaja Chhatrasal. He fought many battles during his period and hoisted the flag of Sanatan culture on the sacred land of Bundelkhand. The stories of bravery of Alha and Udal here are still alive. The heroes of Bundelkhand protected the motherland with their bravery. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the Indian team for becoming world champion in cricket and the festival of Holi. He said that the players of the country including Madhya Pradesh are hoisting the flag of India in the world by performing excellently in international sports competitions. Today, Indians are fulfilling their responsibilities well on top positions in many institutions of the world, this is the result of the best education system of the country.

Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on the occasion of inauguration of Gyanveer University. Describing this day as historic for Sagar, he underlined several important milestones of development. Minister Shri Rajput said that today is a very fortunate day. He reminded that Dr. Mohan Yadav had started it by signing the file of Gyanveer University when he was the Higher Education Minister of the state. Sagar is now among the few cities where along with the Central University, the facility of State University and Medical College is also available. For this he expressed special thanks to Prime Minister Shri Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
Chief Minister tested the preparation of future lawyers
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed campus of Gyanveer University and took stock of the educational facilities, in which the Moot Court, specially prepared for law students, was the center of attraction. Moot court is a type of artificial or fake judicial proceeding. In this, students studying law debate an imaginary legal case like in a real court. Its main objective is to teach students the nuances of actual court proceedings and protocols, to master the art of judicial reasoning and advocacy, to provide practical experience of litigation and legal documentation.
Chief Minister boosted the enthusiasm of students
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the moot court and interacted with the students present there. Praising this initiative, he said that practical experience along with bookish knowledge is helpful in preparing a skilled advocate and jurist. He described such simulated learning (experimental learning) as useful in modern education system. According to the university management, through Moot Court, students will be able to remove their hesitations and prepare themselves for advocacy in the High Courts and the Supreme Court in future.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has praised the traditional food culture of Bundelkhand and described it as good for health. The Chief Minister especially appreciated the dishes made from traditional millets of Bundelkhand. He said that rotis made of jowar, bajra and maize not only provide energy but are also the pride of our ancient dietary system.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s plate included traditional dishes of Bundelkhand. These mainly included Methi and Gram Bhaji, Kadi Pakoda, Dahi Bade, Bijore with traditional flavour, Kachariya, Bari ki Sabzi and the famous Maheri, Khichla, Papad, Mangodi and Gujarati Namkeen, Chironji ki Barfi, Mango-lemon pickle and refreshing Mango Panna. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bundeli cuisine is not only incomparable in taste, but it is also extremely beneficial from the point of view of digestion. Coarse grains like jowar and millet are the basis of health. He said that promoting local cuisine strengthens the resolve of “Vocal for Local”. These dishes of Bundelkhand symbolize the rich cultural heritage and hospitality of the region.

During Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s stay in Sagar district, the lively presentation of Bundeli culture caught everyone’s attention. The Chief Minister was given a grand welcome with a captivating presentation by local Bundeli artists and traditional musical instruments. Artists presented Rai, Badhaai and other folk songs, in which tunes of Dholak, Nagadiya, flute, Manjira and other traditional Bundeli musical instruments resonated. The captivating presentations captivated everyone. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav hugged the artists and appreciated them by patting them on the back.
