Releasing the 34th installment of Ladli Brahmin Yojana in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 1500 to the accounts of 1.25 crore women. In the program organized in Ghatigaon, Gwalior, an amount of Rs 1836 crore was sent and many development works were inaugurated and Bhoomi Pujan was done.

Bhopal. March 13 was a very special day for the dear sisters of Madhya Pradesh. State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 1500 to the bank accounts of women as the 34th installment of Ladli Brahmin Yojana.

In the state level program organized at Shabari Mata Temple in Ghatigaon of Gwalior district, the Chief Minister sent a total amount of Rs 1836 crore to the accounts of about 1.25 crore women. During this program, Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 54 development works completed at a cost of Rs 121 crore was also done.

The program started with lighting of the lamp and Kanya Puja. The Chief Minister welcomed the women present at the venue by showering flowers on them. Apart from this, forest rights letters, checks of self-help groups and checks of Mudra Yojana were also distributed to many beneficiaries.

Government’s focus on women’s economic empowerment

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in the program that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is ready to face every challenge. He has set a target of making the country a developed nation by the year 2047 and the sisters and daughters of the state will play an important role in achieving this target. The Chief Minister said that from June 2023 to February 2026, 33 installments have been paid regularly under the Ladli Brahmin Scheme. During this period, a total amount of Rs 54,140 crore has been transferred directly to the bank accounts of women. This amount of Rs 1500 is a kind of special gift to the sisters before Navratri. The government has increased the monthly assistance provided under the scheme by Rs 250 from November 2025. Now eligible women are getting financial assistance of Rs 1500 every month.

Dear sisters will also be linked with employment and skills

The Chief Minister said that the state government does not want to limit the Ladli Brahmin Scheme to only financial assistance. The government aims to connect the women associated with the scheme with skill development, employment and self-employment opportunities. With this initiative, women will become self-reliant and will be able to contribute significantly to the development of their families as well as the society. The government has taken many important decisions in this direction and new schemes will be started in future also.

Gift of development projects in Gwalior area

The Chief Minister said that Bhitarwar area has received development works worth more than Rs 122 crore. These include the inauguration of the grand Sandipani Vidyalaya built at a cost of Rs 40 crore and the foundation stone of a new bridge. Bhoomipujan will be performed for the construction of the second phase of BR Ambedkar Memorial in Jaurasi village of Dabra for works worth about Rs 12.5 thousand crores. Apart from this, Bhoomi Pujan has also been done for boys and girls hostels with 50 seats each in Kulaith, Dabra and Murar. A labor rest house is being constructed near ISBT at a cost of about Rs 7 crore.

Industrial investment and new employment opportunities

The Chief Minister said that from the year 2024 till now, land has been allotted for 220 industrial units in Gwalior area. Thousands of people are likely to get employment here with an investment of about Rs 12.5 thousand crores. Footwear cluster is being constructed in Sitapur, while a new factory for hydrogen manufacturing will be set up in Morena. He also said that the cheetah family in Kuno National Park is continuously increasing. Madhav National Park is now creating a new identity for the conservation of tiger, crocodile and turtle.

New schemes for farmers and cattle herders also

The Chief Minister said that the government has decided to give a bonus of Rs 40 on the purchase of wheat from farmers under the Farmers Welfare Year. Apart from this, new schemes have also been started to promote animal husbandry and milk production in the state. The objective of these schemes is to increase the income of farmers and strengthen the rural economy.

  • The primary health center of Bhitarwar will be converted into a civil hospital.
  • The sub health center of Ghatigaon will be upgraded.
  • ITI centers will be set up for the youth in Bhitarwar and Ghatigaon.
  • Land survey will be conducted for the construction of a grand temple of Maa Shabari Mata in Bhitarwar.
  • Religious programs will be organized in Lord Devnarayan Temple through the Culture Department.

Statement of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

In the program, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that Bhitarwar assembly constituency has received the special blessings of Mata Shabari and rapid development is taking place here. He said that a new story of development is being written in the state and today the beloved sisters are getting the 34th installment of the scheme directly in their bank accounts.

Scindia said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged for a developed India 2047. The country is moving beyond the immortal period towards the centenary period. The goal of developed India cannot be achieved without the economic empowerment of women. Under this thinking, schemes like Ladli Lakshmi Yojana and Ladli Brahmin Yojana have been started in Madhya Pradesh. He said that in the coming years, a target has been set to provide assistance of up to Rs 3000 every month to the beloved sisters.
