CM Mohan Yadav held important meeting with all SP-Collectors and MLAs, gave clear instructions

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a virtual conference with all the MLAs-MPs of Madhya Pradesh and District Collectors-Superintendents of Police-officials and officials of urban bodies regarding the Diwali festival.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing MPs, MLAs, Collectors, Superintendents of Police, officials of urban bodies and officials of all the districts through VC from Samatva Bhawan located at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday regarding the upcoming festivals. The Chief Minister said that in order to save the cultural, religious and social heritage of the state, Govardhan Puja should be organized with great pomp in major public places and cow sheds of all the districts of the state on 21st and 22nd October.

  • Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a target has been set to increase the milk production of the state by 20%. On this occasion, activities should be conducted to encourage natural farming and animal husbandry. Ministers, MPs, MLAs, officials of urban bodies, Panchayat representatives and local public representatives should participate in these events. Programs should be celebrated as festivals by involving cultural troupes active at the local level. Animal Husbandry Department will be the nodal department for these events.

CM appeals to celebrate Swadeshi Diwali

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that while celebrating Swadeshi Diwali, buying and selling of indigenous goods should be encouraged in festivals with the aim of strengthening the spirit of self-reliant India. The programs of Self-reliant India and GST Utsav will continue till 25th December. In all the assembly constituencies, ministers in-charge, public representatives and collectors should organize programs of Self-reliant India/GST festival by determining the dates in mutual coordination. Display and buying and selling of indigenous goods should be promoted in these events. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that social harmony events should be organized in every district. Socially conscious representatives should be invited to these events and discussions should also take place to create a positive environment towards social harmony.

CM told how to celebrate Diwali

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Diwali festival is for all of us. He called upon the public representatives and officials to visit old age homes, poor settlements and orphanages on Diwali and celebrate Diwali with them. On the second day of Diwali, the happiness of Diwali should be shared with the workers by going to Mazdoor Maidan, Mazdoor Haat.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that collectors should immediately take cognizance of sensitive incidents and news. It is the responsibility of the collectors to immediately inform the minister in charge, local MPs and MLAs about the situation regarding such incidents and news, and they should also visit the spot as per the need. District Collectors should immediately fact check such information and news and issue refutation if necessary. Ministers in charge, departmental ministers, MPs, MLAs should also maintain correct position regarding news that is misleading and disturbs the harmony in the society. The Chief Minister directed that the police should necessarily remain in dense settlements and intersections, police forces should also roam in the area, the presence of the police should be visible among the public, so that the public feels a sense of security.
