Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav distributed a flood relief of Rs 20.60 crore to 17,500 farmers of 11 districts. The farmers expressed their gratitude to the transferred amount by single click. The government assured that farmers will get support in any case.
Bhopal. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav on Saturday distributed a flood relief of Rs 20.60 crore to 17,500 farmers of 11 districts of the state. This amount was sent to farmers’ accounts through single click transfer in the form of compensation for damage to crops due to excess rainfall and natural disaster.
CM Mohan Yadav had virtual dialogue with farmers
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with the affected farmers through video conferencing. He said that- ‘The prosperity and smile of the farmers is the strength of the government. No farmer will be left destitute in the weather. Full compensation will be given for crop damage.
The Chief Minister also assured that in every situation the government is standing with the farmers and relief amount will be provided to all.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s direct conversation with farmers
During the dialogue, CM Yadav learned their status from farmers of various districts, including Raghavendra, Jagat Pal, Damoh from Damoh, Sangram Singh, Ashoknagar from Pradeep Singh Raghuvanshi, Kalyan Singh, Dhar from Omprakash, Jagdish, Ramesh from Chhatarpur, Prakash and Raisen to Arvind, Amar Singh.
During this period, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi was also present in Damoh district. The farmers thanked the Chief Minister for receiving quick relief amount.
Madhya Pradesh government earlier distributed large relief amount
In August 2025, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav provided relief amount of more than Rs 30 crore to 24,884 families affected by natural disaster and floods.
Revenue department information
Revenue Commissioner Mrs. Srivastava informed that there is a special provision in the revenue book to provide immediate financial assistance to the families affected by natural disasters. This monsoon season recorded 1031.2 mm of rainfall in the state, which is 25% more than normal. The highest rainfall districts include Guna (1603 mm), Sheopur (1418.6 mm), Mandla (1417.4 mm), Raisen (1403.2 mm) and Shivpuri (1354.1 mm). In the financial year 2025-26, a total relief amount of Rs 188.52 crore has been distributed so far.
