After Chhindwara road accident, CM Mohan Yadav canceled his visit to Delhi and met the victims. He announced an assistance of Rs 8 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh to the injured and the government took full responsibility for the treatment.
Bhopal/Chhindwara. As soon as Mohan Yadav returned from Delhi tour, he canceled all his programs and visited Chhindwara directly. Here he reached villages Karer, Gwara and Jhiriya of Mohkhed tehsil and met the families of those who lost their lives in road accidents and consoled them. After this, the Chief Minister reached the district hospital and met the injured to inquire about their well being.

The Chief Minister emotionally consoled the victims’ families and said that this incident is very sad. Appealing to the people to remain patient, he assured that the state government is standing with them in this difficult time. He told that immediately after the incident, the minister in-charge was sent to the spot and a team of doctors from Jabalpur and Nagpur was also sent for treatment.
Rs 8 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh each to the injured.
The Chief Minister announced that financial assistance of Rs 8 lakh each will be given to the families of each person who lost his life in the accident. In this, Rs 4-4 lakh will be given by the state government and Rs 4-4 lakh will be given under Sambal Yojana. Apart from this, all the injured will be given an assistance amount of Rs 1 lakh each and the government will provide them complete treatment.
CM Mohan Yadav kept taking updates from Delhi also, immediately reached Chhindwara
Despite the busy programs in Delhi, the Chief Minister continued to inquire about the condition of the injured. As soon as he received information about the accident, he immediately instructed the minister in charge to send him to Chhindwara. Besides, a team of specialist doctors was also immediately dispatched from Jabalpur, so that the injured could get better treatment.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav became emotional while meeting the victims. He directed the district administration and doctors to take care of the injured like family members. He clearly said that there should not be any deficiency in treatment and all possible help should be ensured.

The Chief Minister also discussed further needs and arrangements in a meeting with the officials. He directed that full preparations should be made to deal with such incidents in future. He assured that the state government stands with the affected families in this hour of crisis and will provide all possible assistance.
