Great preparations were made following the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. NDRF teams were deployed in Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Dhar. SDRF was deployed at sensitive places in the state. Disaster Response Centers were established in the entire state, consulting 259 sensitive areas and 111 Quick Response teams were deployed. 3300 disaster friends were also trained in 11 districts to connect the common people in these works. 80375 civil defense volunteers have been trained in the state. Apart from this, the Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had instructions that the general public should be informed about the dangers of floods etc. 75 red alerts have been sent 3 hours in advance to the victim citizens through the Sachet portal from 1 June to 30 July by the State Disaster Control Room. A detailed arrangement was made by the control room irrigation department running 24 hours, so that the water level of the dams and the water to be released can be delivered to the district collector and all the persons in time. Information received from the Indian Meteorological Department is also being made available to all concerned officials and rescue teams continuously. To monitor all these works, state level control rooms were set up 24 -hour. Information about the rise in the water level of major rivers, the list of district-villages affected is being given to the leading officers-and-people involved in Aapda Suraksha at certain intervals. So that, advance action can be taken for relief rescue. Apart from this, it was also ensured by the government that necessary life -saving medicines were available in all hospitals and health camps of the state and advance food grains were stored at 62 places. So that the general public does not have to face any kind of problem when needed. The responsibilities of all departments were fixed and SOP-Advisory was issued for pre-flood preparations at the state-district-tehsil level, rescue of public from lightning from celestial lightning, prevention of snakebite.

Rainfall over normal has received 703.33 mm of rainfall so far, which is 60% more than normal. This more rainfall than normal has also occurred rapidly in less time. In this tragic time of disaster, the Madhya Pradesh government has taken a sensitive action in this sad hour of disaster. 53 relief camps are being run in the state. 3065 people have been kept in them. 3 relief camps are already running in district Mauganj, in which 230 people are living. There are already 2 relief camps in Guna, in which 170 people are living. There are already 8 relief camps in Morena, in which 1384 persons are living. There are already 5 relief camps in Damoh, in which 1590 persons are living. 1 relief camp is already going on in Raisen, in which 30 people are living. Medicines, food and drinking water are being provided in these relief camps. Apart from this, 94 culverts were damaged on the highway and main route. However, alternative routes were made available immediately. So that there is no interruption in traffic. 432 rescue operations have been carried out by the redemption parties/rescue relief teams posted in the state. Of these, 3628 citizens and 94 cattle have been rescued alive. An amount of about Rs 28.49 crore has been distributed to the affected persons by the District Collectors who have distributed the District Collector. An amount of about Rs 3600 crore has been arranged by the government under this item, so that no financial interpretation can be done in relief work. According to the meteorological department, on July 30, the flood control room was visited by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav in view of the warning of heavy rainfall.
