Cloudburst in Tehri: There have been cloudburst incidents in many places in Uttarakhand. The Dewal block of Chamoli district has caused major damage due to cloudburst. Apart from this, clouds are also cracked in Genwali village of Tehri district.

Cloudburst in Tehri: Uttarakhand once again saw a rage of heavy rain. A big accident occurred due to cloudburst in Mopata village of Dewal block of Chamoli district. A couple Tara Singh and his wife are missing here, while Vikram Singh and his wife were injured. In the accident, a cowshed was also buried in the rubble, in which about 15 to 20 cattle are expected to be pressed. It is a matter of relief that there was no loss of life here. However, public and private property has been damaged in many places. The administration immediately started action and teams of revenue, health, power, water institutes, Jal Nigam, PWD, Vepkos and Veterinary Department have been sent for relief work.

A lot of damage due to heavy rains

Apart from this, cloudburst has also been reported in Jakholi block of Rudraprayag district. Heavy rains in Chhenagad, Bangar and surrounding areas have caused a lot of damage. Overall, the rains in Uttarakhand have once again shown a huge form, the administration and relief teams have reached the spot immediately after a cloudburst in Genwali Bhilangana in Tehri district. Public and private property is feared to be damaged.

Vacation declared in schools

Heavy debris, which fell from the mountain in Kaleshwar region, has entered several houses. The work of removing debris from JCB machines continues. Police and administration teams are continuously present on the spot. Nandprayag, Kamera, Bhanerpani, Pagnala, Jillasu, Gulabkoti and Chatwapipal routes are completely closed. Due to heavy rains, schools have been declared a holiday in all the development blocks of Chamoli district on Friday. There have been incidents of breakdown in Dewal and Tharali, while Adibadari and Karnprayag are also receiving heavy rains. Administration and relief agencies are making safe rescue in the affected areas.
