Bengaluru: The suicide case of Confident Group founder CJ Roy is getting murkier by each passing day. Several stories are circulating his death, who was allegedly shot dead a few days back at his Bengaluru office.
Meanwhile, questions are also being raised on whether the businessman’s sudden decision was due to his mental state. It is reliably learned that Roy had been receiving counseling from a psychiatrist for several days regarding his health.
The businessman received counselling a day before his death
The question that is being asked repeatedly is whether Roy shot himself in the chest in his office and decided to die by suicide within 15 minutes of his death. It is believed that he had been suffering from severe mental stress and depression since last few months. He was reportedly undergoing treatment from a renowned psychologist in Bangalore to relieve his stress and depression.
Just a day before he reportedly died by suicide, Roy had undergone treatment and counseling at a renowned psychiatric hospital in Jayanagar 8th Block of the city. He also spoke openly to the doctor about the pressures of life and personal difficulties. He also frequently discussed life and death on social media and had even started making a film on the subject of death. Roy, who appeared healthy from the outside, was experiencing severe stress on the inside.
Roy had a soundproof chamber
The probe further revealed that the staff did not know about the incident even after 20 minutes, as Roy’s chamber in his office was completely soundproof. Because of this, the staff did not suspect anything. On the day of his death, the staff knocked the door but did not get any response from inside. The door was opened after he was found lying on a chair. The police were immediately informed.
