City Braces For Humid Days With No Rain In Sight; Check 6-Day IMD Forecast

With a record-low minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, Delhi experienced a relatively humid day on Wednesday. The national capital and surrounding areas are bracing for more of the same, with hot and humid weather expected to persist due to a lack of rainfall in the region.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), while the maximum temperature is not expected to rise much, there is no forecast for rain in Delhi in the coming few days. August 11 and 12 are likely to see intermittent spells of light rain, as per the weather department. 

Delhi is expected to witness partial cloudiness and light rain or drizzle, with maximum temperatures ranging between 33°C and 35 35°C on Thursday and Friday. On August 9 and 10, the city’s various parts will experience partly cloudy skies, accompanied by thundery clouds that may lead to light rain or drizzle. The maximum temperature is expected to settle between 32°C to 34°C.

Furthermore, on August 11 and 12, Delhi is likely to experience partial cloudiness and light rain or drizzle, with maximum temperatures ranging between 31°C to 35°C. Residents can expect relatively cool and pleasant weather during this period.

Delhi NCR  Weather: Monsoon On Break

Similarly, the NCR districts are on Monsoon break with humid and hot days expected in Noida and other neighbouring cities.  As per the weather department, intermittent cloudy skies are expected in the region, but heavy rainfall is less likely to occur in the coming days.
