New Delhi: Carlos Alcaraz will once again face Jannik Sinner in the final of the ATP Cincinnati Open 2025 on Monday. The match is turning out to be an iconic rivalry in modern-day tennis, which will once again take place after the Wimbledon final, where Sinner beat Alcaraz.
The defending champion Sinner ended French qualifier Terence Atmane’s dream run with a 7-6(4), 6-2 win on Sunday, to set up the title clash with the Spaniard, who qualified with a 6-4, 6-3 win against Germany’s Alexander Zverev.
The Spaniard enjoyed a better head-to-head record against Sinner, who won the last battle when the pair faced off in the Wimbledon 2025 final. This will be the duo’s fourth meeting in 2025. Earlier, Alcaraz defeated Sinner to clinch the Italian Open and the French Open titles this year.
