When to perform Chitragupta Puja in March 2026?
According to the Panchang, the second date of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month will start from 04:49 pm on Wednesday, March 4 and will continue till 05:03 pm on Thursday, March 5. Since the sunrise of Dwitiya Tithi will be on March 5, Chitragupta Puja will be performed on the same day.

Worship method of Lord Chitragupta
-Take a pledge to worship Lord Chitragupta on the morning of Thursday, March 5. Make complete preparations for the puja before the auspicious time.
– Install a wooden platform in a clean place, spread a white cloth and keep the picture of Lord Chitragupta.
– Light a lamp of pure ghee. Offer things like sandalwood, roli, turmeric, betel nut, betel nut etc. one by one to God.
– Offer fruits and sweets as per your wish. Also worship book and pen. Chant these mantras during puja-
Masibhajanamyuktaam dhyayettam cha mahabalaam.
