Chilly Winter 2025: This time it is going to be very cold! Winter is coming before time. Early Winter Chill Grips India Temperature Drops As La Nina Brings Cold Wave

Chilly Winter 2025: Cold is now being felt in the hilly and plain areas of the country. The temperature is gradually going down, due to which the chill has started increasing. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature may fall further in the coming days, due to which the cold will increase further.

Chilly Winter 2025: As soon as the month of October starts, the change in the weather is clearly visible. Pink cold has knocked. A slight chill is being felt in the morning and evening and people have now started wearing light warm clothes. Snowfall has started in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, while the temperature is falling rapidly in the plains of Delhi and North India. In such a situation, it is being estimated that this year winter is going to come earlier than normal.

Cold increased from mountains to plains

Last week, Srinagar received snowfall ahead of schedule, while rain in the plains of Jammu and Kashmir further increased the cold. There is continuous snowfall in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh and a major drop in temperature has been recorded due to rain in the lower areas. According to weather experts, this change is due to the decrease in sea surface temperatures in the Pacific Ocean. Due to this, a La Nina situation is being created, which is bringing the cold earlier and more intensely. This is the reason why this time people are feeling shivers in the beginning of October.

There will be severe cold in North India

IMD experts say that due to La Nina this time there may be more cold in many parts of India, especially in North India. This means snowfall and cold winds in the mountains may increase more than before. Also, IMD has said that there is a possibility of more than normal rainfall in most areas of the country in the month of October.
