Lucknow, December 20: When difficulties and troubles surround one from all sides in life, a person can choose two paths, to break or to create history. Mujahid Sheikh of Lakhimpur Kheri chose to write history. While going through financial crisis, depression and neglect of society, he managed himself and became a successful example of Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign of Uttar Pradesh Government. This is not just the story of a young man, but of the thinking that transforms struggle into success with the vision of Yogi Adityanath government.
Falling farm income and family responsibilities
Mujahid’s family lived in an agricultural area of Lakhimpur Kheri and was completely dependent on farming. With time the cost of farming increased but the income decreased. The needs of the family increased and concerns about the future of the children increased the financial pressure. Despite hard work, the situation did not change and despair set in.
Facing depression and indifference of society
Due to constant stress, Mujahid went into depression. At this time, instead of cooperation, he had to face taunts and jokes. Confidence began to wane and the future began to look bleak. Timely treatment and counseling in Lakhimpur Kheri gave him the strength to stand again. He spent three years in depression.
New path found through the vision of Yogi government
After improvement in health, the biggest question before Mujahid was livelihood. At this time, Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign brought opportunity in his life. Interest-free loans and government help allayed their fears. The officials of the District Industries Center assisted them in the entire process and assured them that the government is with the youth.
Change in village through digital thinking
After getting the loan, Mujahid opened a digital marketing agency and started connecting village traders with the online platform. Gradually small shopkeepers started connecting with digital services. After this he took Thyrocare franchise and started bringing testing facilities to the villagers by learning blood sample collection. This step became a grassroots example of Digital India.
The foundation of success is strengthened by struggle
Today Mujahid’s business is going strong. They are collecting installments of Rs 5000 every month and providing more than 400 services. He has also started giving franchise by forming his own firm MSO Enterprises. Through YouTube channel, he is providing information about digital services and government schemes to the villagers.
Credit to leadership and a sense of self-reliance
Mujahid gives credit for his success to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He says that “the government’s trust and Digital India initiative created opportunities for employment and self-reliance in my village.”
The family’s dreams got a new lease of life
Mujahid’s family life changed after economic stability came. Enrolled the children in a private school and settled the family in a house built behind the shop. Now they are living life with respect and satisfaction.
Awareness and social service for youth
Mujahid is now spreading awareness about the Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Scheme. She plans to start a week-long free course on digital empowerment for village girls.
