Youth development in uttar pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly taking necessary steps towards making the state an economy of One Trillion Dollar. Various schemes are being run to make the youth of the state self -sufficient and to provide self -employment opportunities. In these schemes, the Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Vikas Abhiyan Yojana has become the first choice of the youth of the state. You can guess this from this that in the four months of the current financial year, about two lakh applications have been received across the state, while the Yogi government has set a target of 1 lakh 50 thousand in the financial year 2025-26. In giving the benefit of the scheme, Jaunpur has won the first place in Uttar Pradesh, while Azamgarh is in second place and Lucknow in third place.

About two lakh youth applied in four months
Under this scheme, in the current financial year 2025-26, 1,96,004 youth have applied for loans from the entire state in four months relative to the target of 1 lakh 50 thousand, while 1,58,595 applications have been forwarded to the bank. Out of these, 45,463 applications have been approved by the bank to give loans while 42,128 loans have been distributed for self -employment to 42,128 youth. At the same time, if you do the last financial year 2024-25, then 1,78,662 applications were received against the target of one lakh, while 1,44,273 applications were forwarded to banks. Out of these, more than 40 thousand applications were approved by the bank and distributed loans to more than 28 thousand youth. For this, a margin money of Rs 113 crore was approved by the MSME department.
Jaunpur district left all the districts of UP behind
In giving benefits of Chief Minister’s Youth Entrepreneur Vikas Abhiyan Yojana, Jaunpur district has secured first place by distributing loans to most applicants in the entire state. Jaunpur District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh informed that Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign is being run to provide self -employment to the youth of the state. In such a situation, according to the intention of CM Yogi, a special campaign in the district is being provided to the youth by contacting banks for self -employment. He informed that in the current financial year, the district has been given a target of providing loans to 2,200 youth under the campaign. In relation to this, 4,598 applications have been received in the last four months against which 3,623 applications have been sent to the bank. Of these, loans have been distributed to 1,385 applicants. District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh said that in the last four months in the entire state, Jaunpur has secured the first place to the most youth by distributing loans.
Similarly, Azamgarh has secured second place in giving benefits of the scheme in the entire state. Azamgarh was given a target of 2,200 in the current financial year, against which 3,565 applications were received in four months. Of these, 2,919 applications were sent to the bank, out of which loans have been distributed to 1,256.

Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Agra, Varanasi and Prayagraj also performed well
Lucknow District Magistrate Visakh Iyer said that Lucknow has secured third place in giving benefits of the scheme in the entire state. Lucknow was given a target of 3,000 in the current financial year, against which 3,421 applications were received in four months. Out of these, 2,258 applications were sent to the bank, out of which the bank has given its approval to give loans to 1,008 applicants while loans have been distributed to 920. Apart from this, Kanupar Nagar has distributed loans to 909 youths and got fourth in the state and Agra has secured the fifth position in the entire state by distributing loans to 903 youth. Along with this, the performance of Varanasi, Prayagraj and Ambedkarnagar was also excellent in giving the benefits of the scheme.
