Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai prayed for the prosperity of the state by offering Arghya to the Sun on the occasion of Chhath festival.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai offered Arghya to the rising sun at Kunkuri Chhath Ghat in Jashpur district. He wished for the prosperity of the state and announced approval of ₹5.17 crore for beautification of the ghat.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and his wife Mrs. Kaushalya Sai today offered Arghya to the rising sun at Kunkuri Chhath Ghat in Jashpur district on the auspicious occasion of Chhath festival. Wishing happiness, prosperity and prosperity of all the citizens of the state, the Chief Minister extended hearty greetings to the people of the state on Chhath Puja. He said that Chhath Puja is a symbol of Sun worship and social harmony, which gives the message of unity and brotherhood in the society.

Amount of ₹ 5.17 crore approved for beautification of Kunkuri Chhath Ghat

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that he considers it a privilege to participate in this festival related to reverence and faith in his assembly constituency. He said that for the convenience of the devotees, an amount of about Rs 5 crore 17 lakh has been sanctioned for the beautification of Kunkuri Chhath Ghat. With this amount, the facilities at the ghat will be expanded, so that the devotees can get better arrangements.

Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Mr. Shashimohan Singh, public representatives and a large number of villagers were present on this occasion. Devotees worshiped Chhathi Maiya with faith and enthusiasm and offered Arghya to the Sun God.
