Farmers of Madhya Pradesh have received compensation for the first time for the damage caused by yellow mosaic in soybean. Farmers of 13 districts have been given a relief amount of Rs 653.34 crore. Relief amount of 371 crore was given to the flood -affected 3.90 lakh farmers.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said on Friday that the service of farmers is the service of God. Flood, disaster, hailstorm or insect wrath, farmer brothers fight and struggle with every calamity. Any disaster or disaster on the farmer is standing with the farmers by becoming partners in every hour of crisis.

The Chief Minister told the farmers that you are not alone. We are with you as the whole family. The happiness of the state is in your happiness. Relief amount of damage to crops will be given to farmers due to all types of disaster and pest outbreaks. Our government will not sit peacefully until the last aggrieved farmer gets assistance. The smile of the faces of farmers is our real Diwali. The hard work and passion of the farmers will again fill their fields with life and prosperity.

CM Yadav was addressing the relief amount of crop damage from natural disaster and insect outbreak to farmers at Samvat Bhawan located at Chief Minister’s residence. He sent a relief amount of 653.34 crore to 8 lakh 84 thousand 772 farmers of 13 affected districts for crop damage caused by excess rainfall in various districts of the state in the last months and yellow mosaic disease in soybean. The Chief Minister said that it includes a relief amount of Rs 331.34 crore to 3 lakh 90 thousand 167 farmers affected by crop damage caused by over rainfall/flood damage and Rs 322 crore to 4 lakh 94 thousand 605 farmers affected by yellow mosaic/insect disease.

Returning lost smile is our first priority

CM Yadav said that complete transparency is being done in giving relief amount to all the aggrieved farmer brothers and the work of crop survey. Returning the lost smile of farmers’ face is our first priority. The government has sent an amount of more than Rs 337 crore to the account of more than 6 lakh 69 thousand paddy producing farmers at the rate of Rs 4 thousand per hectare. Bhavantar Yojana has also been launched for soybean producing farmers. The government will directly give the amount of the difference between the selling price of the crop and the minimum support price (MSP). We will not allow any loss of farmers.

The Chief Minister said that we are standing as your servant in the grief and pain of the farmers brothers. The sweat of the foreheads of the farmers will not go in vain, your hard work will ride the state by taking the form of greenery again, we are always with you. The state government is standing with the farmers at every step and is participating in their happiness and sorrow. We will not leave any farmer of the state alone in the disaster.

Expressing satisfaction, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the year 2025-26, a total of Rs 229 crore 45 lakh has been given to the people affected by various natural disasters. On September 6 last month, more than 17 thousand farmers of 11 districts were given relief amount of more than 20 crores for crop damage. For the first time in the history of the state, the state government is giving relief money to crop affected farmers due to yellow mosaic disease in soybean.

Chief Minister communicated with farmers

Chief Minister Yadav interacted with the victim farmers through video conferencing during the relief amount distribution. Farmers and local public representatives thanked the Chief Minister for implementing the Bhavantar Yojana for the events of Dussehra and grand weapon worship and the soybean producing farmers. The farmers said that the Chief Minister got our Deepawali celebrated before Deepawali. We feel that the government is with us. We received the relief amount of yellow mosaic for the first time. This is a farmer friendly government in the true sense. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav while discussing with the farmers of Burhanpur district said that banana -based industries will be promoted.

On receiving the relief amount, the Chief Minister congratulated all the farmers and said that registration has started under the Bhavantar Yojana for soybean growing farmers from today itself. Now farmers will not have to face any problem in selling their crops. Sell ​​in soybean mandi, if the crop is sold in less than MSP, then the amount of the price of the crop sold and the difference between the MSP i.e. Bhavantar will be sent directly to the bank account of the farmers in the next 15 days. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in view of the global scenario, farmers will get a lot of soybean feeling this year. This time Soybean’s MSP has increased from Rs 500 to Rs 5328. The central government has again increased the MSP for the wheat crop. This will be beneficial in the direction of fulfilling the resolve of prosperity of the farmers of the state government.

A total relief amount of Rs 213.04 crore has been given to the farmers of Ratlam district. Farmers here Bharatlal Jat and Prahlad Patidar said that their soybean crop was completely ruined due to overflow. They did not have money to buy fertilizer and seeds for the next crop, but this crisis is now over due to the relief amount of the government. The public representatives of the district informed that Kisan Sammelan will be held in Ratlam on October 10.

The Chief Minister said that they will come among the farmers. Neemuch district was given a compensation amount of more than Rs 119.06 crore for the damage to soybean crop due to overflow. Farmers Rakesh Patidar and Shambhulal Ahir said that due to the compensation amount of the crop on the occasion of Dussehra and Diwali, the crisis of buying fertilizer and seeds in front of the farmers has ended. A total of Rs 267.30 crore was given to soybean producing farmers of Mandsaur district. Farmers here Laldas Bairagi, Rekhabai, Omprakash, Sunita Sharma said that after getting compensation amount, Deepawali has already been felt before the farmers. The farmers of Ujjain district have received a relief amount of Rs 44 lakh. Farmers Pawan Singh and Uday Singh said that the government has given compensation amount before harvesting. The farmers here are excited to register under Bhavantar Yojana. 62 lakh rupees have been given to the farmers of Vidisha district. Farmers Bharat Singh and Manoj Kumar said that the crop was damaged due to heavy rains, the government has given great help by giving compensation.

Relief amount of 2 lakhs per hectare to banana farmers

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a compensation amount of Rs 3.39 crore has been given to the farmers affected farmers of Burhanpur district. Farmers Mr. Pandurang Bithal and Vinod Pundalik said that the banana producing farmers here are being compensated by about 2 lakh per hectare and there has been a big relief. Soybean producer yellow mosaic affected 8935 farmers of Shahdol district have received a compensation amount of Rs 6.36 crore. Farmers Mr. Rajendra Dwivedi and Mr. Surendra Singh Rajput thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Soybean producing farmers of Khandwa district have received Rs 55 lakh in the form of excess rainfall and relief of yellow mosaic. Farmers Mr. Kanhaiyalal and Mr. Kishore said that the government has become our support in the disaster. The damage caused by yellow mosaic is being compensated for the first time. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed grief over the accident in Khandwa district. A compensation amount of Rs 37 lakh has been given to 662 farmers affected by the overflows of Barwani district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that on the occasion of Sharad Purnima, he will visit Barwani on 6 October and participate in the de -addiction campaign.

Farmers Pushpendra and Salkaram said that they and their family are very happy to get compensation. The maize producer affected farmers of Damoh district have received a relief amount of Rs 56 lakh. The farmers here Ravidas and Bhagwandas said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the farmers of Damoh district regarding the registration of Bhavantar Yojana. Soybean producing farmers of Alirajpur district were given compensation of Rs 41.55 crore for crop damage caused by yellow mosaic, which benefited 49 thousand farmers. Farmers Shri Vesta and Mr. Kalu expressed happiness over the compensation. A compensation amount of Rs 53 thousand has been received for the damage done to the crop of paddy and maize producer affected farmers of Mandla district. Farmers Chander Singh and Devi Lal thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. He said that there is an atmosphere of enthusiasm here due to the bonus of paddy producing farmers.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also discussed with the public representatives of Seoni district. It was told that a farmer affected by the collapse of the house here has received a relief amount of 92 thousand rupees. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told all the farmers who get relief amount that the farmers of the remaining affected districts should not be disappointed, the survey is going on there and the relief amount will be given as soon as the survey is completed.
