Mohan Yadav FPO Summit 2025: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in the FPO Summit 2025 that the government will give 32 lakh solar pumps to make farmers self -sufficient. Increased from 5% to 95% food processing target. Organic cotton will get international identity.
FPO Summit 2025: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is determined for the construction of Golden Madhya Pradesh by increasing the income of farmers. Madhya Pradesh will play an important role in PM Narendra Modi’s resolution of developed India 2047. For the fulfillment of this goal and development of the state, the state government has started work in all areas. The food processing industry is being promoted in the industrialization of the state. The area under irrigation has increased to about 55 lakh hectares. The work of distributing 32 lakh solar pumps for irrigation has started for the purpose of getting farmers free from electricity bills. The scope of farming is increasing continuously in the state. The state’s agricultural productivity is good and now we are moving towards becoming a leading state in food processing.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the farmer producing organization (FPO) should not be limited to purchasing crops only from farmers, but also processing grains and other products and selling it in the market, which will directly benefit the farmer members associated with FPO.

The Chief Minister was addressing the “FPO Director Summit-2025” organized by FPO Federation Madhya Pradesh under the ‘Rich FPO-Automatic Farmers-Developed India’ resolution at the State Agricultural Extension and Training Institute on Tuesday. Dr. Mohan Yadav lit the lamp and launched the program.
In the program, the sisters of self-help groups from Ratlam district tied bamboo ash on the wrist of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wished the farmers who attended the program Independence Day, Janmashtami and Shri Balram Jayanti.
Target to increase food processing from 5 percent to 95 percent
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government has targeted to increase food processing from 5 percent to 95 percent. For this, farmers are being linked to food processing with full commitment. A large industry is being set up for the manufacture of potato chips in Malwa zone. The role of FPO can be important in the industrialization of the state. FPOs should not only do food processing but also contribute to ware housing and logistics. Farmers should increase the scope of their products through FPO. The government is providing all possible support by giving electricity, water and land to all types of industries. On setting up employment -based industries, the government will be given a grant of Rs 6000 in their monthly salary to the women employees employed in industries and five thousand rupees to the male employee for 10 years.

Special demand for biological cotton of Madhya Pradesh in the world
The Chief Minister said that to increase production today, the challenges of using chemical medicines in crops are coming. The scope of traditional farming in the state has decreased. Earlier, where rice production was not done, rice cultivation is increasing. Similarly, the area under cotton is decreasing. Earlier, Malwa and Nimar region had a special place in cotton production. Madhya Pradesh has high quality organic cotton. Chinese cotton is not liked in the world to make thread and textiles, Madhya Pradesh has a special demand for cotton. China and Vietnam are selling their cotton under the name of cotton in Madhya Pradesh.
The state government will seek the cooperation of farmer organizations to make farmers self -sufficient
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and Malavam Federation will take help of organizations in the operation of activities to make farmers self -sufficient. The state government has increased the price per quintal of wheat to Rs 2600 to farmers. Tax has been removed on tur dal. Arrangements are also being made to purchase coarse grains (kodo-kutki) from farmers at minimum support price. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the target is to increase milk production from 9 percent to 20 percent. The state government has launched Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana to encourage animal husbandry. Milk animals like cow-buffalo are being provided to eligible beneficiaries on subsidy. Along with food processing, milk processing and production of milk products are being promoted in the state.
There is no shortage of fertilizer in the state – Minister
Agriculture Minister Edal Singh Kansana said that Madhya Pradesh is an agricultural state. When the farmer of the state is prosperous, the country will be prosperous. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, many welfare schemes are being run for farmers. There is no shortage of fertilizer in the state. Adequate quantity of urea is available but there is a slight shortage of DAP, which is being arranged. 14 lakh metric tonnes of urea and 12 lakh metric tonnes of DAP are available in the state. The government has distributed 10 lakh metric tons of urea to farmers. The farmers are blessed by Lord Shri Ram. The state is receiving sufficient rainfall. The state government will provide appropriate compensation to the farmers for the damage caused by flood-rain.

Our goal is to make India the strongest economy in the world. If the FPOs move together like the Pandavas, you will definitely progress. We are trying to reach 1 lakh villages of the country. The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh is working for the progress of village and farmers.
FPO requires continuous training for marketing crops and products
All India Organization Minister of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Dinesh Kulkarni said that by considering Lord Shri Balaram as an ideal, we are working to make farmers prosperous. The dream of developed India will be fulfilled by everyone’s development. Farmers have to enrich, in which FPOs can play an important role. The central government has planned to pursue all the FPOs of the country. FPOs need to provide continuous training for marketing of crops and products. The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh has formed Mahi Federation at the national level and state level federations in 6 states to provide facilities to the FPO, of which Malavam Federation is in Madhya Pradesh.
